Fit: I’m 5’7, 146 lbs. 38 bust, 33” waist, 42” hips. I ordered a 14-16. (On the pkg it was labeled XXL,,NO size label on the dress!) It was a tiny bit large for me, but it drapes well. Arm holes are a bit too big if you have thin upper arms. But that’s an easy fix.The color (RED) is pretty, but NOT maroon which I really wanted & needed, But I may keep it. I also have the yellow, which I like because it is a vintage shade of yellow, not bright.I think the quality is absolutely AMAZING for the price. The fabric is soft, flowy & drapey, but unlike genuine vintage (I have many of those!) NOT fragile!I have paired these with genuine vintage accessories (shawls, dropped waist sash, capulets, over blouses, shoes, cloches, purses & jewelry).I would be thrilled if they would add a true maroon, Ivory & white to the color options. I just received the black.I go to many vintage dress events, usually (up until now) wearing exquisite genuine 20’s, 30’s or 40’s garments, but sometimes I really want to not have to worry about ripping delicate old fabric (been there, done that).If not PERFECT, These dresses are the BEST deal EVER, in my opinion!I hope I can add photos later!

Nice dress for a 1920's look without the sexy fringe look. Fabric was quality but can't be put into a dryer but dries fast on a hanger. Size ran large.

So I needed a non-flapper 1920s day dress for Old Fashioned Day at our church and this dress was perfect! I'm a bit hippy so I typically can wear either a L or XL depending on the cut and style. I wasn't sure what the fit would be and I knew the style then was loose and kind of boxy so I ordered an XL but I think a L would've been better. I think you can order to your normal size and be happy with it. It was just a little loose in the under arm but not so much that it was unwearable. I did pin the sides at my natural waist but not tightly. I got so many compliments on the dress and was actually pretty pleased with the quality for the price. I would've been more pleased if it was maybe $5 or $10 cheaper. Both the underskirt and sheer top layer were actually hemmed(not surged) and the fabrics had some natural weight and good movement to it so the dress didn't look like a costume from Walmart but an actual dress. I feel like I'll be able to wear it for normal Sundays, not just fancy dress days. Overall, it was a little more money than I initially wanted to spend but am happy with how it turned out and with the dress sizing. Definitely will recommend if you want a more normal 1920s look.

It was super cute but tore as soon as I put it on with a bra. 3 stars for cuteness.

The dress was incorrectly constructed. The chiffon panel on the front was larger than the lining piece. This created a large bulge of the chiffon fabric above the seam in the stomach/hip area. The top fabric above the horizontal seam at the hip hangs over the seam. To fix this, I would need to disassemble the dress and sew it back together. I didn't have time to return it before my event, so I wore something on top of it to cover it. Otherwise, I would have returned the dress unworn. At the price I paid for the dress, there should have been better quality control. I will not buy from this company again.

I loved how comfy this dress is-wasn't tight anywhere on me. I hold my weight in my tummy and have a high waist, but this black dress did a good job covering that up while giving a smooth appearance. The flounce at the bottom was just enough flair for me-I'm not super fancy. I was surprised at how well it was made, especially with the lining. Bought this for a Roaring 20's party and dressed it up with accessories. It was great for that party, but it's actually perfect for just a regular party or dress-up event. (For reference: I chose the 16-18, which is labeled XL, and am 5' 7" 40-40-36)

This is probably the most authentic silhouette of a 1920's dress you can find. It's a good dress if you are aiming for mid-to-late (1926-1929). Remember, the 1920s was really about a boyish cut - the goal was to look like a potato sack - no curves. Hems were "short" but only short compared to the early 1900s so this falls a little below my knee - which is perfect.This is a drop waist, straight cut dress - as expected. It has a nice detailing that runs from shoulder to waist, too. The you can get some kick and fluff from the ruffle style at the bottom of the dress. The dress is lined and light and very comfortable.I am 5'7 about 145-150lbs and I ended up getting a small. I tried on the medium and it was a little too lose. It is a little tight on my chest, but, I wore this dress all night and it didn't bother me. Very good quality and lovely color (teal blue) but as some reviewers have noted, the top portion is too tight. I am 5'0", not large chested and purchased size XL (16-18) in hopes of avoiding this issue, but no such luck.
