This tool is the greatest! I read reviews on how to apply the edge kote and some people said a q-tip would work, so I tried it first. The problem I had was the q-tip started to fall apart. It did apply the edge kote evenly, but I was afraid it would leak over the bag strap. Then I tried this and it worked! It was so easy to use. The roller just glides over the bag strap applying the kote evenly. I was afraid it would drip over the side, but it didn’t at all. I’m so glad I took the chance and bought this! It was reasonably priced, so if it didn’t work well it wouldn’t burn a whole in my pocket. I fix bags, so this is going to make my life so much easier!

I use this little edge tool to apply leather edge finisher to the edges of my leather pieces. It works very well. I recommend it highly.

The pen seems to be well built, has bearing inside so it rolls smoothly. The grill head is quite delicate and is needed to be wash immediately after use, but it holds more paint. The other head is more robust. Satisfied with my purchase.

I've been using this item for finishing my leather edge work and I can say that it works much better than the competitors I was using. And it also came with two different types of tips, a plus for me. Rolls smooth and hasn't stopped at all while applying the flex edge coating like the old one did.

It's ok...I used it to edge coat some vinyl straps but it didn't keep the paint solely on the edge...there was some spill over onto the front of the strap even though I tried to be so careful. I should've just bought the $20 one by Tandy Leather off the bat but I wanted to save some $$ but this was a waste of money. It works, it just doesn't work as well as the more expensive one.

Absolute junk. Worked the first time, then stopped rolling. Took it apart to clean It so it would roll again, and it's impossible to put back together. Great when it worked, but that only lasted for a minute. The construction of how the two roller washers are seated on the rolling pin is the issue. Cheaply made chinese factory made junk, is the best way to describe this. I purchased two of them. Both did the exact same thing. Won't buy again.

Put a nice, even coat on the edge of my leather project. Cleaned up much easier than I expected too.

Surprised how well this thing works! Easy to use. Holds a good amount of edge paint. Easy to control and makes for neat edges.
