fuel tubing

Update 03/24/20:The smaller ID fit perfectly; It's snug on the carb nipple and (best of all) doesn't leak!I installed the new hose the day I got it (about a week ago), added fuel and primed it, then ran it for a few minutes. I stored it back in the shed, checked it today, and it's totally dry.Happy!!====Update 03/13/20:The fuel line is barely too large for the nipples on the carb, and ends up leaking fuel. I lost about 1/2 tank of fuel while it just sat in my shed. Not awesome. I got the 3/32 ID x 3/16 OD and will update again once I have a chance to put it to use. As long as it doesn't leak, I'll be happy. No, I didn't want to secure it with zip ties and risk it causing issues.====The hardest part of swapping fuel lines on my trimmer was finding the right size! I figured out my Craftsman 316.79119 2-cycle gas trimmer uses 1/8 ID x 3/16 OD tubing.A bit of mixed reviews about this, but I figured I couldn't complain too much given the cost for the quantity. My trimmer is in a shed, so it's not exposed to the elements, and I use it maybe 1-2x per month. I'm sure it'll last a while, and the amount of product provided makes it easy for annual maintenance even if it's not long lasting while in use.

Too cheap. Doesn't last.

Bought this for oil injection lines for a 2 stroke Sea-Doo. Didn't last a year before it cracked and split. Terrible quality material.

Very elastic, so it can be used with different size fuel barbs

I needed to replace the fuel hose on my leaf blower since it had deteriorated over the years from Ethanol fuel additives. In fact the hose in the tank was completely brittle and breaking. There were two hoses going to the carburetor. One is the main fuel hose that pulls fuel from the tank and the other is for priming - that hose actually pushes air into the fuel tank forcing the fuel feeder hose to push fuel into the carb. These hoses were slightly different sizes; however, this hose is very elastic, so it worked for both hoses. That made my day.

Brittle, Do Not Use on PWC

Used this tubing for oil injection on my Seadoo 951 engine rebuild 3 years ago. Due to the tubing being brittle it broke off on one cylinder and when no oil goes to a cylinder, you will be doing another top end rebuild. Using Tygon this time.

Chainsaw Perfect

Used this 1/8" x O.D 3/16" fuel line to replace the line on a 40 year old Craftsman chainsaw. Very pleased in every way.UPDATE: After 3 years this fuel line is already decayed to the point that it's splitting where my chainsaw fuel filter slips on. Very disappointed. If anyone knows of better fuel line I'd certainly be open to changing. It's not a fun job changing fuel line on my saw.

Splits VERY easy

I like the suppleness of this tubing but if you put it over a fitting with even very little stretching it splits very easily. Placed over a tight fitting barbed connector it SPLIT EVERY TIME. For me this product is useless.

Leaks, crack, brittle, wasted time

Junk, do yourself a favor and stay away. The line is flexible initially, but once used becomes brittle and cracks at the connection easily causing leaks. I have tried to fix three times with the line on my trimmer and now give up. I can't fix a bad line. I have to find something that works. It works for one run, next day, leak and no run. Junk!

Good deal. I did find one clog in the ...

Good deal. I did find one clog in the brand new hose -- a bit of the yellowfuel line material somehow got in and created a blockage. I just cut that section out.It was indeed clogged -- could not blow through it. The rest of the hose was finewith no problems. Fortunately, you can see through the hose so the cloggedsection was easy to find before installing any fuel line.
