Excellent Flexibility and Quality

This 22AWG silicone wire is a game-changer for my DIY electronics projects. The silicone insulation makes it incredibly flexible, allowing for easy routing in tight spaces. The tinned copper strands ensure excellent conductivity and are a breeze to solder. I've used it for various applications, including LED strip installations and Arduino projects, and it performs flawlessly every time. The color-coded red and black wires make it easy to distinguish connections, reducing the chance of errors.

Best I've Found

Can't beat the quality for the price--wire stays bright inside insulation, good centering, nice packaging. Would buy again.

A little too flexible, but it's a good set

Chose this wire mostly due to the reviews. The silicone plus stranded wire makes for really, really flexible wire. The colors are kind of pastel, and because it's silicone they're not shiny. The wire won't keep its shape at all if you try to bend it or shove it into a crease, this is good for harnesses where something else (tape or harness wrap) will keep everything together.Next time I'll use real primary wire, this was fine for a one-off but a little frustrating to ever use again.

With it being located so close to the engine and exhaust, I’m surprised it’s holding up GREAT!

Spoiler Alert:This wire is great! The following novel is how I’ve come to this conclusion. The boyfriend and I installed a Motogadget M-Unit Blue on his 1999 Harley Davidson Fatboy. As we’ve worked on many projects together, I’ve realized we just don’t work well together. Two completely opposite approaches: He’s the type to do just enough to make it work. Anything AND everything else (even following the directions) is just a waste of time and he will not be wasting any time. I like my work to be tough enough to never have to go back to repair it. Unless you’re showing it off, you definitely shouldn’t have to think/worry about it again until you make the decision to upgrade (vs. upgrading something because it doesn’t work). Needless to say, we don’t work so well together. It was both of our first times doing something like this. Naturally, I wanted to follow the directions, have a plan and a solid wiring diagram, all BEFORE we started. Well, he hadn’t even finished watching one video of a guy (who didn’t even install it on a motorcycle), and he’s ready to start our installation without a plan, a wiring diagram or one hesitation.I said what I had to say once, offered to help if he was interested in planning it out to do it right the first time, because I don’t like wasting time, money for more parts, etc. either. He kept on going because he needed (wanted) to ride it (I can’t even remember where) the next day. Lol I tossed my hands up and decided to sit this one out. It was a few months before I gave in to help. What I walked into was not a nice, clean install like he presented to me when he made the expensive purchase. The wires that came with the M-Unit were probably long enough when they arrived, but it was obvious they had been cut without any regard to planning where the wire would need to be, or could be routed. I tried to make a diagram of the current situation to assist in my efforts to obtain a result as close as I could to the diagram I had completed a few days after he began the project. I’ll just say that I did what I could with what I had left to work with. After a couple of weeks of wire tracing (that I should’ve just rewired then, but he would’ve not been happy with me wasting so much time), he buys a speedometer and an LED tail light/turn signal combo, stator, rotor, voltage regulator and battery. I suggested the battery cables too. He declined for another two months, but ultimately got them.I originally purchased this 22 gauge wire to cleanup the mess. The bf ended up finding it but only used a 10-12” length to repair an oil sensor wire, WITHOUT protecting the wire with loom, he only wrapped like an inch of tape over the solder location. smh. With it being located so close to the engine and exhaust, I’m surprised (actually, I’m completely shocked) it’s holding up GREAT!I do NOT recommend a loosey-goosey method when it comes to any electrical repair (ESPECIALLY on a motorcycle), I DO recommend this wire mainly due to it holding up to the heat of a Harley Davidson! It’s also very flexible and turns nicely when needed.I’ll continue with the full rewiring of the motorcycle, with this wire, when we replace the engine (before the end of the year).

Good Set of Wires

Outstanding little set of wires for home electronics projects at a good price.

Good wires for creating jumper wires for robotics

I used it to create jumper wires for my robot. The wire is soft and flexible and works better than the jumper wires purchased from the store.

Red wire is impossible to strip?!?

For some unknown reason, the red wire in this kit is impossible to strip. Never seen anything like this. It's very stiff, very tough and seems to be bonded to the metal wire. I tried several different strippers that all work fine with other wire and indeed work fine with all the other colors in this kit. After struggling with it I got fed up and threw the red wire away. Pretty annoying since red is a commonly needed color.
