Brilliant Blue
Product Review: Silk PLA Royal Blue FilamentI recently had the chance to work with this filament, and it has left a strong impression for its vibrant color and ease of use. Here's a breakdown of my experience:Color and FinishThe blue hue is striking and incredibly vibrant. The filament produces a lustrous, silky finish that gives prints a polished, high-quality look straight off the printer. This makes it ideal for decorative models, display pieces, and anything where aesthetics are a top priority.PrintabilityThe filament is easy to work with. I experienced no clogging or tangling, and the extrusion was smooth and consistent. The recommended temperature settings worked well, and even at slightly higher speeds, the filament performed admirably.Layer Adhesion and DetailThe layer adhesion was excellent, and it captured fine details beautifully.ValueFor anyone seeking a filament to produce eye-catching and visually appealing prints, this is a fantastic choice. It's priced competitively, especially considering the premium finish it delivers.Overall Rating: 4.5/5The silk royal blue filament is a beautiful material that’s perfect for artistic or display pieces. Its vibrant color and silky sheen set it apart, though it may not be ideal for functional prints. For decorative projects, it’s a standout option! I will be purchasing again.

Soft rainbow colors
I chose this filament due to the beautiful colors. With the proper printer settings it prints great! Great quality and smooth print. I’ve never had stringing again while using proper settings.

I'm so glad I tried this transparent pla!
I ran out of my usual clear pla brand and Amazon was also out of it so I thought I'd try this one. I usually take the time to dial things in because I'm a bit picky. This time I was short on time so I just used the stock generic pla profile. There were things I was really needing/wanting to print in clear. I'm pretty impressed with how these turned out. Layer lines were smooth. Very minimal stringing just in the bottom of the lamp I printed. Being clear you can see the infill pattern inside the electronics cases and I really like how it turned out. Especially for a fast print. I think I'm switching to this as my go to transparent pla brand and now I want to try their other colors.

Fantastic shine and minimal layer lines.
I'm reviewing this late, but I guess it works out because I've had it for a while and have had absolutely no issues with it. This is quite possibly the smoothest filament I own. I've yet to have any clogs and everything I print with it comes out flawlessly.- printed on an Ender 3 V2 Neo, 0.4 nozzle, 0.2 layer height. 220° nozzle, 60° bed, 60mm/s (first layer 30mm/s)

One of the funnest filaments I've printed with so far!
When the package arrived, I was a little concerned. There was no packaging tape on the box to keep it closed. Any one of the numerous delivery people that handled it could have easily opened the box and taken the filament, and delivered me an empty box. Also, the vacuum seal bag was loose, as if it has been punctured, but i couldn't find any visible holes. The vacuum seal could have been damaged during delivery.Despite the issues above, the filament printed great, even without drying. This was a really fun filament to print with! While you can print this just like any other PLA and get good results, I would strongly suggest taking a little time to do some research on the settings you need to adjust in order to make REALLY clear prints. I don't think the stock photos utilize these techniques and look cloudy as a result. This was my first experience with transparent filament, so I'm sure i still have a lot of room for improvement, but am really impressed with the result so far. Tube of Krazy Glue in 3rd picture for ideal of transparency.

Be careful on long print jobs due to potential snags
This was my second spool of filament from this vendor. The first one was great. I love the multicolored effect of this filament. However, the second spool was not wound correctly. Three different print jobs were ruined by the leading edge of the filament being pinched between the edge of the spool and layers of filament that restricted the feeding of filament. This caused excessive waste of product and several productive hours. Now I've had FOUR failures!! This time the filament actually crossed under a layer and again halted the job.

Decent color.
A few issues. Even after drying and slowing down. It could be a printer issue, but I print other silks just fine. The color is decent. So I gave it 4 stars.
