Craft-tastic – Fairy Potions Craft Kit – Make 9 Magical Fairy Potions

We got this for my daughters 5th birthday as a gift for her. It's so cute, easy to use, it's durability us woth the cost, no missing parts, she had so much fun making potions with mom and dad.

So adorable!!! I bought this for my 7 year old as a craft for quarantine and it has definitely caught her attention! It takes a little bit of adult help to maKe the potions but they are absolutely beautiful! Her older sister and grandma have already stolen some! The best is the welcome potion that has unicorn hair and fairy wings- the colors mix so amazing and it really looks magical!!! Like I said, it takes some help to read the potions and instruct what to mix, but she did it all her won and she was super proud! There is also glitter that is glow in the dark and she almost died she was super excited! I had to stop her from making them all in one day so we can spread out the fun. I will definitely be restocking at hobby lobby for some more glitter and bottles. Clean up was easy- just had her sit at the kitchen table and put a little tray underneath to catch any rogue glitter. She was so careful and focused and I feel it really built up her concentration and responsibility. Loved this project!

My 5.5 year old loves fairies and loves this kit! Her 3 year old sister also was totally into it too. They both needed adult assistance as there are directions for potions and it’s very easy to pour the entire container of sparkles (aka pixie dust) out when you only need a pinch or spoonful. We grabbed some extra potion vials at the dollar store as there is enough supplies to make more potions. The set comes with cute labels for the vials that the girls loved too. Was able to snag on prime day for a good deal and I’d buy again if on sale. I wouldn’t say the kit is the most high quality thing you’ll buy but if your kid is into fairies they’ll love it!

I bought this kit because a YouTuber I watch enjoyed it and it looked cute, and I was not dissapointed! I love the jars, and was happy to see that there are 9 recipes (to 9 jars) wherein the only ingredient not provided is water, and 3 recipes calling for other ingredients.The other thing I was happy to see was the amount of care that went into the planning of the kit! If you watch craft kits reviews online, you've probably seen a lot of kits that weren't planned well. This kit stands out to me for having resealable bags, extra ingredients (particularly the glitters, 'unicorn hair', 'fairy wings', and gems), and 2 bowls, a funnel, and a spoon to stir the glitters with! The recipe booklet is well constructed and very cute, and I love the apothecary style potion display box! Really every piece of the kit was well designed and thought out! I'll definitely be getting the mermaid potions kit some time too!

My daughters flipped over making their own potions! If your kid loves anything magical or fairies, definitely a great gift. Worth the price.

I’m happy I had this set to play with while I had 4 of my grandkids. It’s definitely messy. We used it outside at a picnic table. Kids are aged 6, 5, 3 and 3. The 6 and 5 year olds were able to use it fairly well. The 3 year olds needed help. The foam caps on the lids don’t stay on really well. The smaller bottles that come in the set are pretty small to try and get the glitter and gems in. Overall the kids had fun playing with it. It was a one time use for us. I probably wouldn’t buy it again though.

My 8 year old loves this kit! She has some special needs and a very short attention span, but she created with this for hours. I love the stories of each potion and the labels to create your own. Everything is high quality and really sparks imagination. I love the “cabinet” to store it all. If I had one wish for it, it would only be to have some unicorn horns, flowers or wings that fit in the small vials, but it’s still lovely without it. The pieces are great for little hands, but I was able to handle the materials and help with adult sized hands too. My daughter wanted to potions for everyone.This kit is awesome for kids who love creative playing and creating. She built stories like those that come with the kit for each of her own potions. I would buy this again and again! Love love love it!
