14AH-BS Maintenance-Free 12V 15Ah Battery Replacement for ATV, Motorcycle, Jet Skis, Scooter, UTV, and More - Nut and Bolt (T3) Terminal

As of 11/2016 I'm struggling with my 2004 Honda VTX 1300C. This battery is slightly bigger than the typical ES14BS I typically get at Wal-Mart. I was scratching my head when I took the old battery out and put in the new and I couldn't get the battery cover on and the cables were not going on easily. Grrrr.. Then I realized the battery is only half way in the plastic holder pocket. I literally pressed and used a rubber mallet to whack it in, but I can see it will be a bear to get out. So I intend to pull it back out now and see if this is going to work out. Perhaps I can grease the new battery. Hmmm... After an hour of messing with it I called it quits as it started getting dark. I will look it over in the morning tomorrow. Standby for update. I hate switching to something new and dealing with crud like this.Follow up. 11/8/2016: Another hour killed. Still can't get the cover on properly and I realized it's due to the new battery at least a half inch taller than the Wal-mart one. Too tall folks! It needs to be no taller than 5.75" This battery is 6.4". Not a match for my bike. I require the cover as it holds an electrical device in a clip. I can't put it in without it.5 pm. Drove an hour round trip to BatteryPlus store. Got the proper size battery and it fit like a glove. Also got good advice to use a Battery Tender charger to smart charge battery during winter not used much time. If not, the man said, even if you start it once per month, you will shorten the batteries life.

Sadly the Chrome Battery 14AH-BS High Performance Power Sports Battery I bought isn't holding a charge 6 weeks later. I will attempt to contact the vendor for a replacement. The listing sorta states 18 months for warranty. I contacted the Vendor and they are going to replace it, so it turned out OK.

First thing, amazons my garage said this battery was not the proper one for my motorcycle. I checked the dimensions and it was the same as the one in my bike, so I purchased it. Fit perfectly! Put a one amp charger on it and the battery was fully charged in about 15 minutes. Pretty impressive. One of the first things I read on the box it said do not drop! When I open the box the battery was in it’s factory box upside down in the shipping box. No damage to the shipping box. The factory box the the battery came in was split open. The product might be damaged so I want it documented. Figured this be a good place to put the information in case is a warranty problem with the product later.

This battery is a good value.I have owned a couple of these.They hold up pretty good .Advice... Keep it charged, don't let it sit very long and drain to far down.

I'm sure it's a great battery value. It just didn't fit my 2012 R1200GS Adventure. Too tall.

Good price if you are planning on replacing it every year. Longevity of this battery is about a year.I have two of them with different sizes and they both quit at the same time.

Will not hold a charge after 6 months of use. Dead.

This is the second Zip I have installed on a motorcycle around our house this year, and so far, so good. Good cranking power. Time will tell on longevity.
