The ad showed white switch, I was glad to see it is black like my original. It’s also got the same three prong arrangement as the original. Only negative is the terminals are too wide and won’t fit original wiring. I’ll have to grab some new spade connectors. Feels strong and sturdy enough that I don’t fear breaking it. Took a bit of fiddling to get the bulb in but it fit and nothing broke. For the price a good replacement for my crumbling old VW part! (74 super beetle**edit: I used some nippers to clip the two (-) terminals roughly in half. Worked out great and left original wiring intact. There was also a piece of plastic on the edge of the switch (on the inside) that extended too far and hit shell inside the roof not allowing full travel, required a little bit of sanding and bending, but it’s all in and working well now!**

Oh my light was so dim... Sad really. Then this showed up. Bam, it Helps me see again. A little fragile so be careful but i think this is more of vw being i don't know... A cheap car. :-)

If this is actually an EMPI product then they have a serious problem with quality because this interior Dome Light is junk! Item does not come with a bulb, the connectors on the part do not fit original connectors of the vehicle so you have to do some "creative" wiring and the cheap slide switch on the part that controls off-on when door is open-on when door is closed does not stay in off position so if you have the door open yet the switch to "off" it slides on its own into "on" which will cause a battery drain. Not enough money to return yet I will definitely think twice about purchasing another EMPI after market item for my '73 VW Super Beetle

These are works great on my Super Beetle 1973

It serves it purpose but very difficult to install due to it is fragile. Everything is plastic junk these days gone are the days of real craftsmanship, now it is a matter which country will produce for the least. I would gladly pay more $ for something that is better quality.

No es exactamente lo que pedí, la descripción del producto dice que el botón es blanco pero en realidad es negro, elmmayeial se ve de buena calidad

El plafon no viene con el boton blanco, mi auto es un modelo que originalmente lleva el boton blanco por eso lo pedí, llego con boton negro, tube que pintarlo, la pubiicacion es incorrecta, el plafon es para modelos mas recientes
