Love this thermometer! I powered up the device right out of the box and it was fully charged. It connected to my phone app immediately. I plugged in all four color coded probes which come in a nice independent little carrying holders so they don't get all jumbled up in your drawer. I then tested the probes against a manual probe and all four worked accurately and within 1 degree. I have used them at least 3 times so far on the pellet grill and each time, they worked flawlessly. The phone app is really nice and gives you lots of preset options as well as the ability to add new profiles for foods that might not be on the list. I highly recommend this product. TIP: make sure you set the app to allow running in the background and not be affected by battery saving modes. Range is also good, I was able to walk anywhere in my home and stay connected to the thermometer receiver. (which remained out on my deck on the smoker pellet box lid)

After doing the research on different kinds of thermometer this seems to be the best fit for my patio BBQ as well as the oven. I like to be able to walk around and still keep a tap on what’s going on the grill. The Bluetooth range is quite good for a 2300 sqft. two story house. Thermometer temperature is good and the reading is accurate. Tried with my freezer too!Pros:- Accurate and responsive device.- Good Bluetooth range, easy to setup.- Allow custom range with alarm for upper and lower limits.- Custom range can be edited on the go.Cons:- The graph is lagging behind like 30 seconds. Wish they could do crosshair to check temp any point along the excursion.- Documentation has typos on 6VDC supply. USB voltage should be 5 VDC and clearly it says that in the device case.- Temp reading on the App could have shown all 4 readings in one on a quick view screen, instead you have to scroll down for other readings. Customization on color could be better for contrast or color blind issue.- After creating a profile, there is no fast dial for changing Temperature Input range, you have to use +\- keys which is a turn off.Overall this is a good device for its functionality and price. Except minor glitches I highly recommend it.

Before this week, I’d only used it a couple of times for steaks. But yesterday I learned how valuable it is for smoking a brisket. Used one probe to monitor the ambient temp, and another to monitor the meat’s internal temp. Set up low and high alarms to let me know when unneeded to adjust the heat up or down. Worked like a charm. I give it only 4 stars, though, because the Bluetooth signal did not reach its max reach through multiple walls. I could be in my living room, but lost my connection whenever I went to the back of the house. Still, I highly recommend for the price and ease of use.

Now, I am a perfectionist about products like this. I feel like if I put a temperature probe into boiling water at sea level, it ought to read 212.001 *at the most*. But that isn't realistic and it isn't necessary for a cooking-grade thermometer. I got 213 and 214 across probes (see picture), which is a pretty small error, which is fine.But here's the main thing that impressed me: as I was installing the app, I was kind of fuming to myself about how annoying it is that anything we want to use nowadays, we have to register with an email address and, more often than not, a cell phone number. Imagine my very pleasant surprise when I installed this app, instantly paired it to the thermometer and was DONE. Setup complete, no account required, minimum BS. FANTASTIC. I cannot praise the product and company enough for this. (I have an Android phone, BTW.)If I have a real complaint, it's that the probe ends don't snap into the receptacles cleanly and satisfyingly. They are a little difficult to push in. They work fine, I just kind of expect a higher-quality "feel" to something like that. But for the price of this probe, that is certainly not worth dinging my rating.Bluetooth, the app, the alarms and vibrations worked *perfectly*, first time. The app is easy to use, and you don't actually really need the app if all you want to do is monitor temperature from the display. You can't set an alarm without the app, though.10/10 would buy again. I have no idea why I waited as long as I did to upgrade my broken old meat thermometer.

I’ve had this thermometer for almost 4 years and it has worked awesome. Temperature is relatively accurate, app is easy to use, and battery life is phenomenal. I use it all of the time, at least once a week and I just charged it for the first time since I bought it. I would highly recommend it for the price.

The Meater thermometer is overpriced and lackluster. The Meater signal can't even connect to it's base though the door of the oven or the lid on my grill, making it pretty much unusable for grilling or oven roasting. Also, it's a pain to connect to my phone via bluetooth, and the range is pathetic.This Thermopro is easy to use, and surprisingly feature rich. My favorite feature of the app lets you set a range for ambient temperatures. This feature can also alert you when the temperatures go above or below the target temp. This feature helped me cook my first brisket to perfection overnight. I was able to sleep, and didn't have to worry if the fire went out or if my grill was too hot! The wired probes prevent any issues with connectivity, and the bluetooth range on the base reaches my phone from anywhere in the house.I highly recommend this to anyone looking to buy a digital thermometer! This product exceeded my expectations in every way.

Unit works flawlessly. Great product.Only issue was connecting Bluetooth to it as the app is the same for a two probe system i purchased 3 years ago.Had to go in and delete app data then it hooked up with no problem.
