Have been using Thermacells for a number of years now. This product works great & always keeps the mosquitos away! Totally recommend!

Very dissatisfied with this product. The smell is strong and I found the product ineffective. I am especially concerned by the issue that it is harmful to bees and not recommended for use around food or beverage. I would like to return my thermacell.

Doesn't seem to work or I am just really loved by mosquitoes. It has been on for an hour or more and standing 2 feet away, I had mosquitoes biting me. Pretty disappointed and itchy right now. I even bought extra strips for it. Waste of money it seems.UPDATE: I tried it again and this time I could see wisps of smoke come out and smell it. Not crazy smelling, just a little. So there's a decent chance I didn't do it right the first time. Anyway, I was outside about 5 feet away from it for 30+ mins and not a single mosquito came by.

This is a great product for outdoor use. I love to sit outside and read but until I got the Patio shield repellent I wasn’t able to this. Thanks for introducing me to this marvelous product

It works but is neither smokeless nor odorless. There is a fine white smoke that emanates from the pad and there is a smell. 2 people in our 3 person group found the smell intrusive and unpleasant (likening it to urine). 1 person did not but did detect the smell close up. The pads do not last long and seem to become less effective as they are being used up. They also are used unevenly - there was a bright blue patch at the edge of the pad, which indicates this. Replacement pads seem to be hard to obtain at the moment, so it is good that 3 are included.

We’ve used this product ALL summer. I notice a HUGE different in less bugs all around - mosquitoes, flies and even bees.

Great product to limit the mosquitoes. Black flies seem to be immune but this product as advertised does an excellent job keeping the mosquitoes away.

A friend sent a link (I'm usually more diligent and rarely rate even if I'm totally satisfied). This thing is a total piece of crap. After knowing it only lasts 'up to 12 hours' with a refill cartridge and 3 pads for $8.00. Because I wasn't able to return it because of Amazon rules about something flammable (weird? they shipped it to me no problem), I decided to try it out. Turned on the first night, probably 4 hour run time. Maybe it worked? Blue pad turned white, expected. I replaced the pad, nothing turns on now. And yes I understand the turning to ON an clicking a few times to start. A complete waste of money. It will unfortunately be on its way to the landfill...2/3 cartridge and 2 of 3 fresh pads. Ha. maybe the manufacturer will offer a refund?
