I've tried three different versions of "knock-off" toner with mixed results at best. At worst a complete waste of money. This item, while VERY expensive relative to the cost of my printer, works perfectly. I"m through experimenting with the off-brands and wasting money trying to save some coin. My other results with knock-offs included streaks across my pages, faded copies and shortened toner life. I dropped in the original spec toner and EVERYTHING was better, like a brand new machine.I was saving as much as $100 vs. this unit with the off-brand but my copier/printer became totally unusable. The savings I was enjoying came at the expense of my company's ability to print/copy! Bad idea.

This seller is legit. They also shipped the cartridge very expediently.I have to warn you about OTHER discounted cartridges being sold by OTHER sellers.Those companies (i.e. LD...) lure you in on your first purchase by providing you with a so-called decent (although not refurbished) toner cartridge which may be 50% filled with toner. You think this is great- didn't last 4 years; only 2 - but what the heck, I saved all this money. Then you place your next order and you say to yourself, I'll order two and save on shipping. That's what I did with this other company listed on Amazon. Well, the first one lasted just a month, maybe got 100 copies out of it, said, oh well- put the other one in, lasted 3 months, and both toner cartidges, if you pull back the spring-loaded drum cover, have warped image drums, streaks, lines, you name it.So back to this good seller, for whom this review was intendend. I was like a kid on Christmas morning, when I went to open the genuine hermetically sealed Canon packaging. Once I got the new Canon cartridge out of the protective bubble-wrap, I had the clever idea to weigh the new cartridge, using one of my professional scales. The new Canon Toner Cartridge, weighed 903 grams. So remember that number if you are a fool and buy from someone other than this seller for a discounted toner cartridge. I measured the other two defective "remanufactured" one's from LD...uh humm.. and they weighed 704 and 705 grams respectively. Do yourselves a favor and don't try to skimp on toner cartridges. Sure you pay roughly $160, but this toner cartridge will last me (in my home office) for four years- not a few months.This seller is selling the Genuine Canon toner cartridge, and I hope they will still be selling them in four years when it's time to buy another.

This review is for Canon 106 Cartridge for Canon imageCLASS MF6500 Series. As I have found with all the Canon products I've owned, these are rather expensive, but are of excellent quality. Having owned other, less expensive, and having been disappointed by them, I always opt for a Canon product if one is available in my price range. The toner, of course, is part of the bargain. I never use non-Canon toner. While expensive, I feel the quality of the outcome is worth the price. I would, and do, recommend Canon to anyone considering a printer / copier purchase.

Since my MF6540 copier's laser cartridge goes a little more than a year between replacements, I just bite the bullet and pay a little more to get the real McCoy to insure I don't have problems with an inferior cartridge. I see rebuilt cartridges for considerably less, but just don't want to take the chance. These "official" Canon cartridges have never failed me.

I ordered this product and the box was damaged and looked like it had already been opened. I returned the item and was sent a new toner cartridge. The second toner cartridge looked fine but I should have opened the box immediately. I did not as my toner in the printer was not fully empty yet and I waited until it was empty. I then opened it, a little over a month later and the cartridge was broken! Now I am stuck with a broken cartridge toner.

This is a very reliable toner cartridge and the printouts are always good quality (i.e., no smears, etc.) I get decent page output; I don't know the exact pages I get per cartridge, but it seems reasonable. This toner cartridge is a little pricey, but I have never had a problem with pages getting stuck or similar problems due to bad cartridges. I have used my Canon MF6550 since 2007 and the machine is still going strong. My office is pretty electronic, so I don't print a lot of pages. My print usage is light to medium.

After waiting an eternity the cartridge finally arrived. I believe this was a supplier problem as I watched it progress to my location and stall out for a week in La La Land, then after reporting a problem it showed up in the next day or two, weird.The pricing was excellent and the reason I wanted to purchase on-line vs going to a store.The product has performed as expected and I would buy again.

Unable to print test this toner cartridge. Problem with Canon imageCLASS MF6530 Copier was not caused by a faulty toner cartridge. There is an unrecoverable paper jam not readily accessible. Unit has to be seen by Auth. Canon Repair. Since copier was purchased in 2008, may consider replacing unit.
