Lasts 6 Months, Costs Fraction of the Tablets & Still Going Strong
We’ve been using this dishwasher powder for a whopping two years now—and the cost has been practically nothing compared to tablets. It’s replaced all the fussy pods without a hitch! Couple of scoop per load (or more for the dirtiest jobs), and it just works. It cleans reliably, leaves no residue, and it lasts nearly 6 months per big tub—so affordable it’s almost laughable. My dishes come out sparkle-clean every time, and I never need to worry about running out mid-cycle.For budget-savvy kitchens, this powder is a hero. Two incredible years, zero hassle, and sparkling dishes to show for it. If you're after cheap, effective dishwasher detergent—look no further. Definitely five stars!

Great value, but be careful it can taint pitted plastics
The fact I can't buy powder in the supermarket and all they sell is those stupid pods infuriates me. You need to be able to moderate the amount of detergent depending on the load and your water hardness. We have very soft water so can get away with using a very small amount of this powder without any loss of cleaning performance. The cost saving over pods/tablets is phenomenal. For very dirty loads you can also throw a little powder in the bottom of the machine to boost the pre-rinse when needed. As far as cleaning goes, this stuff does a good job - no different to supermarket brands. As others have mentioned here it does have a strong bleach smell. For china/glass/steel etc., this isn't really an issue as they are generally impervious but if you have any plastic tubs/cups that are pitted at all, you may find that this powder can taint them slightly. This becomes an issue if you batch cook and store food in those tubs for any length of time, and/or use them to reheat food in the microwave. We have occasionally found that a noticeable soap/bleach taste can be introduced. On the whole though, this is a minor hassle that is limited to pitted/damaged plastic containers, and can be worked around by a quick "sniff check" and a rinse & wipe, if needed, before storing/reheating food. The convenience of never having to to stand bewlildered in front of the pointlessly expensive and deceptively labelled dishwasher detergents in the supermarket more than makes up for it.EDIT: after reading some other reviews I've noticed people complaining of this product not dissolving fully, or in some cases at all. I almost always use the low temperature "eco" cycle on my 15yo, cheap and cheerful Bosch dishwasher. I've been using this powder for over six months now and I have never noticed any issues like that. (We have soft water, which may be relevant here, I'm not sure.)Also I saw a comment from someone saying they think this is a product for commercial machines and that residential machines don't have an "auto dispense" function. Firstly, commercial machines tend to use steam, not chemical detergents. Secondly, consumer dishwashers do in fact auto-dispense. It's a standard design feature which allows the initial rinse/prewash cycle to complete before the detergent is automatically dispensed at the start of the main cycle.

Magic cleaner.
While I am sure this is not eco friendly, and that is a shame. It was afforable and large enough to last for some time,so I threw caution to the wind and purchased. You need very little and I do mean a couple of teaspoons worth, to get a great wash.I saw that some had commented on unpleasent smell. I have a reasonable sensitive nose, I get none of that smell others talked about.Maybe because I used so little at a time. I also decanted this into a smaller more useable container, easy peasy, and not overcome with excessive powdery fumes. So this works well and I suspect will last for a considerable amount of time. I use my disheasher once ot twice a day most days, still think it will last for ages.

Not good
Plastic tub arrived smashed up. I've been using this for a month and I wish I read the reviews before hand. It's not good at low temperatures and my dishes come out filthy

Buy salts and rinse aid too!!!
First few goes with this stuff and everything was cloudy. Nearly sent it back but once I made sure I was using enough salt and rinse aid (also bought in bulk) the results have been perfect. Can be very liberal with this powder if it is a particularly dirty wash or use it sparingly od required.Used daily for over 8 months and I think I have more than half left. Can't see it running out anytime soon.Just make sure you get rinse aid and salts and when u use all in one tablets for ages you probably don't need them and might overlook them as I did leading to not perfect results.

For commercial use!
What is hard to make out on the label as the picture is blurry is that it states the powder is for automated dispensers, along with a few dubious health and environmental warnings.Commercial machines use automated dispensers but commercial washers run at a higher wash jet pressure and water temp, usually 80 degrees, which may explain peoples issues with clumps and clouding. Domestic washer components may not like the chemical harshness of the powder in time neither! (Just for comparison UK based sellers of other auto dispensing commercial powders don't seem to have as many health warnings on the packaging)I wont be using this again, there is a strong chemical smell, I opened the washer at the end of the wash cycle and caught a very strong waft of chlorine, Id used only a teaspoon of powder, on wash of 60 degrees and I was only stood in front of it, not bending over. My nose is still burning almost 30 minutes later!I will say everything looks clean, no residue, but I don't feel using this is a good idea so I will go back to using Finish
