I occasionally need some controlled diffused lighting and these seemed like a good choice.The stands and reflectors are fine and should last well enough with some care. They fold up compactly but I'll store them in a plastic storage container they are, at least for myself, more convenient than the zippered pouches. Plus they are stackable and labelable.For an occasional user, I wish someone would allow the reflector to be folded without removing the bulb. The bulb socket feels ceramic so that's good, but I did have to bend the center pin up a bit to make contact with the center contact of the bulb. Minor point but you might check this (unplugged, of course) if your light does not work.The lights themselves are fine. 5700k is a tad on the cool side of pure white. Personally I like the warmer side but my camera has the ability to set the white balance to 5700k and the results seem fine. General color rendition is good but I feel like the greens are a tad muted. Again, just my personal observation and preferences.On the plus side, a sequence of 1/8000-second photos produced very closely exposed images indicating a these lights are reasonably flicker free. No banding has been seen on video. And when the power is switched off, the light fades out suggesting a large capacitor to filter the power to reduce flicker.Light output is fair. Sure, a longer shutter speed is always there. What I ended up doing is buying two more matching LED bulbs and using light bulb splitter adapters doubled the light output. This was a good move has it reduced my shutter speed and gives me options to place the lights further away.So, if you will need these occasionally, these would be fine with care. If you are going to set them up and leave them up, you'll probably be good. Everyday setup and take downs by a travelling photographer, well, you'll just have to take really good care of them.And don't forgot about the double light idea.BT recommended with care

Light set arrived nicely packed, every part in its own packaging inside a portable bag in case you need to take them outside or to a new location. instructions were also comprehensive except for how to assemble the reflector and wires to hold the sahepe, a small video on the page would help a lot on that part. Assembly was easy once you figure out how to attach the reflector wires to the light fixture.The lights can be operated with the remote and can be run via batteries as well which makes it perfect for off location shoots. The controls are easy as well one lets you choose the temperature and the other knob lets you control the intensity from 1 to 100%. Extencion cord is long enough so you can run your lights easily. the set looks amazing and the functionally like I said is easy.I plan to order a new set and also the batteries for both sets.

Okay let me first start by saying I chose these lights to replace my ring lightI got tired of buying ring lights that ultimately end up breaking or not providing enough light for my videosI am not a photographer but I do enjoy creating videos and I chose these to help take my content up a notch with a green screenThese lights are AMAZING!!I don’t even use Both and I have enough light for my videosI will say they are pretty big so if you have a limited space (like me) just keep that in mind when trying to store them placesI like how easy it is to plug up and use wheneverI wish they could fit in my closet but I do appreciate the bag they come in !It makes traveling easyAlthough I haven’t put the light back after taking it out so I’m not sure how take down is but I love the light it provides ,the length of the cord and how easy it is to put the cord back so my pets aren’t chewing on the cordWould totally recommend

Edit: Added a star due to great customer service. Company reached out and sent two replacement bulbs. They certainly did not have to do that as it was our fault the stand got knocked over, but I really appreciate it. Will be much more careful with them going forward and would recommend others do the same.These have been working good for some project shots I've been doing. Unfortunately my son knocked one over tonight and even though the bulb didn't take a direct hit, it completely failed at the socket. The large bulb head is only attached to the socket with some small dimples that hold it all together. It's a very weak design, so extreme caution is needed with the bulbs!

Budget-friendly and does the job of more expensive systems, as long as you don't mind stepping around the cables and extensions. Sets up and takes down very quickly. Not for outdoor use.

Overall this is an amazing set of lights. The quality of photos and videos is much better. Perception of depth is good as well once you start using these lights.Setup: All the items comes very well boxed and packaged by the manufacturer. The setup process was fairly easy and took less than 10 minutes to unpack and setup for the first useQuality: The box comes with a pair of bulbs, nicely boxed in. Once set up the light was adequate enough for some great shots. This is very good for a home studio or vlogging setup.Stand: The stand itself was a bit tricky to assemble for the first time. However, once I got used to the first one setting up the second one was a breeze. The only issue I saw was that above 5 feet, the stand being top heavy becomes a bit unstable. i had to adjust the legs again to give the unit some stability. Once you are aware of this, you will be able to take care of ensuring the legs are supporting the unit well and stable.The wires are also heavy and when the stand is farther way from a power source, extending the wires can make the stand unstable as well. This is the same for most other softbox kits as well. So not restricted to the Neewer ones alone.Highly recommend this gear for amateur or professional setup.

Arrive fast, easy to assemble without instructions, saw the light difference inmediatly. Love it. So far so Good.
