Which protects it breaking during transit. Because charcoal if breaks becomes powder creating mess everywhere and of no use.Now coming to the burning quality, well this product from this brand has very long burning and high heat content. Also product is pure because it leaves very less ash as compared to other brands. Purity is big thing here, because you are buying per Kgs, if some sand is mixed with the product, then it is useless and have less heat content.Hope this brand keeps this high standard.

The media could not be loaded. Starter coal is worthless and tough to initiate the coal but lasted for long hours .

The charcoal simply would not catch fire. No amount of lighter fluid or paper would help. I even took a piece of the coal and put it on a lpg cylinder flame and only the edges became slightly red!The charcoal was more like a bit of coal mixed with ash. I got some different wood charcoal locally and they worked. Had to toss out the 10kg I got.

By looking at others low review at Amazon I initially thought how it will and same hesitation i bought. Found very good product and I it burnt in an hour maximum at fullest.
