Seems the business. High quality packaging makes it feel a bit special and the unit itself is substantial. If such a thing is possible, it’s a nice looking alarm! One disappointment is that the light up display doesn’t stay lit up after pressing the test button, indeed the readings disappears altogether which makes it look as if the battery’s run out, which is a bit unnerving. Would have preferred it if the green light or the display had stayed on but I suppose the unit wouldn’t last 10 years then. Very easy to install. I used a single screw on the backplate instead of the 3 provided and that was more than sufficient and meant alignment was a breeze. I should add I am terrible at reading instructions. Since Apple stopped including instructions with their devices I think everything should be intuitive which of course is never the case but i enjoy the problem solving aspect of working out how things work! At my age you have to get your thrills however you can 😀

This product is good looking and very easy to use. Shows Parts per million of Carbon Monoxide. A bit like the Fire Angel range, it has a mounting sulu stem that will encourage product loyalty! But also, it genuinely makes it very easy to replace.Smoke alarm works! Tested it and just the right level of sensitivity to keep you safe, but not drive you mad with false alarms!I would recommend this product.

Easy to setup

We bought this detector for our motorhome. We travel to Steam Fairs up and down the country and have long weekends away too. So safety is very important. This unit proved itself last November, when a strange alarm sounded. It was this unit alerting us to an electrical anomaly that could so easily have turned into a disastrous fire. It caught the unseen fumes from the melted plastic on shorted wires, that otherwise would have gone unnoticed. This quite possibly saved our lives! Our bed is at the back of the van and the short was near the door. Don't leave it until it is tyoo late. GET PROTECTED NOW!
