I bought this leather with the idea of trying to make myself a wallet. It took a ton of work but the leather is holding up great and I've had it for about 6 months now. High quality

It's pretty dark until it gets worn in and fatigued a little bit but looks great. This leather is much softer, smoother and more flexible than other leathers I've used. Love it!

This is a very sturdy hide. Worked great for knife holsters. It’s not overly supple, and may need some wet forming/molding to achieve desired shaped. And and marring doesn’t readily rub out. So use caution in initial handling.

I don't have any leatherworking experience aside from watching a few YouTube videos, but I have had many leather products and I can tell this is very good quality leather. It smells amazing, feels great and came very well packaged. My piece didn't have any flaws at all. With just a 12"x12" square of black leather I was able to make a bushcraft knife sheath with a spot for my Uberleben Fatty Ferro rod and a mask for my tomahawk. I still have a little bit left for something really small. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase!

This leather is just what I needed for my project. The color and grain are good quality and the thickness is great.My knife scabbard will now be as beautiful as it is functional.
