I love the size and the fact that I can put my very important documents in for a quick access. I just don’t understand how this can be fire proof and waterproof.

I had a dresser drawer full of documents that, while not sensitive, aren't exactly items I would be comfortable leaving laying around (things like my old high school diploma, birthday cards, etc.). I have a metal lock box that I keep more sensitive documents in, so I initially looked for a larger box.I found one but saw so many complaints about it's lock that I felt I may as well just get a document bag. Then I found this.It's perfect for my needs. It can easily hold standard paper sizes (8.5" x 11") and the zipper lock, while awkward until you get the hang of using it, is effective for keeping prying eyes away. A few packs of drying agent stuffed in there, and I'm confident the documents I've put in this bag are safe from moisture and prying eyes.As for physical security, obviously this isn't a smart choice on it's own. A fairly dull pocket knife could cut this bag open with ease, or enough brute force could tear the bag at the zipper seams. But for storage and a little protection against an unskilled snoop, this bag is adequate. For my needs, this bag is working great and with it hidden out of sight, is keeping my documents secure enough to my minimum standard.

Pluses:1. Lockable.2. Lots of inner compartments of assorted sizes.3. Fireproof (or so they claim—thankfully, I haven't had to test this claim).4. Carrying handle makes it ideal for a grab-and-go emergency.Minuses:1. Instructions don't show that the way to actually LOCK the bag (once you've set your combination) is to attach the two small zipper pulls into the actual lock. This is a strange way to lock something that I've never encountered anywhere, so it took some creative thinking to figure this out. The printed manual and online video should both picture this odd arrangement clearly!2. For my needs, the case could be deeper so as to be able to accommodate about one to two inches more worth of paper files. Perhaps the company should make this in several depths, so customers can choose the one that will most suit their storage needs.

I have been looking for a fire proof safe for awhile now. Although this is not what I had in mind, for the price I figured this would work until I buy one. The bag is large enough for all the paper work I need to keep safe. I have no idea if it's actually fire safe and honestly I hope I never have to find out. The zippers are not made of good quality that's for sure! And the locks lacking and best, but not why I picked this item so I am not to worried about that. I mean any thief could just pick it up and take it with them. There is plenty of room and lots of options for organizing your important items. Easily fits folders.
