Best wood I ever bought. Let the boxer wood outside in a rain storm. The wood was soaking wet put it in the fire the next day and it burned beautifully.

Clean, easy, and affordable—who could ask for more? There are no fumes or nasty odors; quite the opposite. A stack of fatwood sitting next to the fireplace releases a wonderful pine scent. It's better than the wax and sawdust starters and lasts longer. I can start most fires with a single stick. I highly recommend this product.

Can be smoky. Works very well. Doesn’t stay lit as long as Duraflame fire start block does, but if you have sticks and logs that aren’t soaking wet, you’ll have a good fire. I had logs that weren’t quite dry (but they were dry to the touch) with some half burned wood from a previous fire (very dry!) and I had to use about 5-6 of these starters for one fire. But they catch easily and burn well and definitely replaces kindling and you don’t need tiny sticks.

There are many fatwood products available on Amazon that may be less expensive, but Billy Buckskins fatwood is the best, most reliable fatwood available.

These light with one strike of a match and stay lit until completely burned up. No more newspapers. It only takes one stick to lit the fire. We purchased a different brand, and were very disappointed as they didn't work at all. Ordered these and wow what a game changer. We will purchase again and again.
