In the detailed Product Description, it further lists the different ones: → Paper Set There are two kind of strips ●0.3*39cm : 10pcs / color, total 26 colors, total 260 strips ●0.5*39cm : 10pcs / color, total 26 colors, total 260 strips ●0.7*39cm : 10pcs / color, total 26 colors, total 260 strips ●1.0*39cm : 10pcs / color, total 26 colors, total 260 strips ●0.5*39cm: 5 gradient of color, 20pcs / gradient, total 45 colors, total 900 strips My math shows that it adds up to 1940. :)

Q: Does this kit include glue?

The kit does NOT include glue, but does include a glue bottle with a very thin metal nozzle for application.

Q: Does any kind of a slotted tool come with kit?? if i'm new at quilling, does this have everything i need to get started? is there an instruction book?

Yes there is a slotted tool. There are patterns but no instruction book.

Q: I received this kit yesterday. Can I possibly not have misunderstood that there are no instructions or manual for starting this craft?

There are no instructions included. You can purchase books that teach you to quill. There are some available on Amazon. This kit contains all of the tools I have needed to complete projects, except the glue.
