Q: Where is this made please?

So sorry for the delay in answering. Been out of town and just checked my e-mails. I don't know where it's made, but it is very sturdy, and seems to be a very good quality. I use itfor rolling fondant for use with my Cricut for Cake decorating.

Q: can this be used for rolling out clay ?

It is advisable in the instruction manual to use only for it's intended use. Clay is much harder than dough and in some cases can be much thicker. Some mechanical parts inside are plastic and with enough strain may cause damage. Don't use with clay!

Q: does it come with clamp to hold down itself?

No. It did not come with a clamp. It has some rubber stoppers on the bottom to prevent from moving around on the counter top.

Q: 2021 does it come with a hand crank handle and countertop clamp?

Yes, it has both. My husband is very handy and has a shop in the basement. He made a box for it so it sits equal with our mixer and then came up with some parts to make it electric. I doubt that anyone else would do that, but he loves that kind of thing. It sure does make it easier. But, it is fine with the manual crank. Enjoy.
