Much better stakes than the ones that come with your tent. They're easier to put in the ground and also they hold much better. I had put my tent up just to check it out. I hadn't even tide it down. I just had the stakes holding it down. A storm came along at night and I thought for sure my tent would be in the tree's behind my house. But it was still standing you could hardly tell there was a storm at all.

All in All, these will work very nicely. They are a bit smaller than I thought but, they are thick enough to get into some hard ground. They come in a nice little storage bag with some extra canopy style nylon rope. I would suggest that you carry some longer (12") stakes if you suspect decent amounts of rain just in case. However, I am pleased with the purchase.

Very good quality! We got these for our camping trip to use for our tent because the stakes that came with it were very flimsy. They worked very well and seemed durable, they didn’t bend at all when we hammered them into the ground.

The stakes can't handle really high direct wind much above 30 mph. I've had two west facing shade sail stakes bend. I had to purchase 30" rebar stakes with the hope they can withstand the high winds we get here in Southern California.

Easy to use

I would rate 5/5. I ordered a set of sixteen black stakes. The package includes a lovely pouch and four luminous green guide strings. To be honest, string is useless because it isn't much stronger, but stakes quality is beyond my imagination. You'll need a sturdy hammer to push the stakes through the ground. It's a little difficult to pull that up when we're packing. However, even in high winds, it keeps the tent firmly to the ground.
