Well worth the money
I found you really need to take some time to set the wiim up and to get used to the software. It's also important to make sure you are using the latest firmware as the wiim is being updated with improvements regularly. The wiim is very stable with a solid wi/fi connection that so far has not missed a beat. I'm mainly streaming Amazon music HD/UHD via an optical cable (my own not the wiim one) into a separate DAC and it sounds very good to me. The Amazon app within the unit shows the quality of the stream and I've set this at 24 bit, 96kHz and it streams perfectly without any issues. However, I found that trying to stream at the 192kHz setting sometimes introduced some stuttering that I have been unable to resolve at the moment. I will update when resolved.Overall the unit works well and has plenty of features for most to be satisfied with. It's early days yet, but so far the wiim has exceeded my expectations for sound quality and usability. A good introduction to streaming and well worth the money.

Great little device, easy to set up
I got this so I could listen to Spotify and Amazon Music on my 'old' hifi system which pre dates internet music. It will do much more than that, including Bluetooth and streaming hi res quality from your 'NAS' or WiFi linked computer, but I haven't done that yet.I was using an old Echo Dot for this, using the 3.5mm jack connection but wanted something purpose made. There's a lot of low quality stuff on the market but this is the real deal.Set up was really easy. Download an app, plug in the device, connect the device to my amplifier using the provided cable and follow the app instructions. It finds the device, connects it to your WiFi, updates itself and then you can link any existing music streaming accounts from the app.I then just set up my Echo using the Alexa app (which recognised the WiiM after a short delay/refresh as an audio device) so that when I tell it to play music, it will use the WiiM as the preferred speaker...and it just worked. No mucking about, very slick.Device has volume and play/pause touch sensitive buttons on top and a tiny unobtrusive status LED.In the box, you get the device (small), a USB power cable (no plug adaptor) a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable, a 3.5mm to phono plugs, and an optical cable. All look decent. Wish I had know this as wouldn't have purchased another cable. It's got an optical output, a 3.5mm output and a 3.5mm input as well as the USB C power socket. It sounds good, I trust it's got good hardware inside it. Now to experiment with some hi res music on the computer...

Excellent value for money, works very well
I've had the WiiM Mini Streamer up and running for a couple of weeks now. Overall, I think it is great value for money. Easy to set-up on iOS and connect to my Spotify and Qobuz accounts. Haven't fully explored all the available apps or functions yet (e.g., EQ), but enjoying streaming radio. I connected optically to my amp with the supplied cable. Sounds great and I've had no issues with streaming interruption. No doubt I'll upgrade to something more substantial at some point, but if you're looking for a entry-level device to streaming music (as I was) this is worth evaluating.

Great budget streamer.
Good value, easy set up. Sounds great. Using it to stream to my old Marantz PM6006 amp and it works a treat. Very happy.Only slight complaint is that it comes with all cables you need except a power cable. It’s just a standard USB 3 cable not having to get a new one would have been nice.

Amazing
I had long fancied adding a streamer to my current hifi but had been put off by the prices. This one was in the prime sale so I took a punt. My hopes weren't high as I had previously tried an old amazon dot via an output to the aux on my amp but it was very poor. Set up was quite straightforward via the app, and they supply a few different leads for the connection. Luckily my amp has a digital input so was able to use that. I have Apple music so playback is very straightforward via airplay and the quality is excellent ( once I set the digital output to the correct setting). I also downloaded Tidal and took a 2 month trial via for £2 to try out the high resolution tracks. Again they are excellent and Tidal is integrated in the Wim app, but either due to the limitations of my hifi or my aging ears the sound quality wasn't noticeably different so will stick with Apple. Also tested it through Spotify using my son's login and again no issuesSo to summarise1 Easy to set up2 Easy to use and works with all the music streamers including Apple3 Buy it you won't regret it
