A quality flood lamp - but not for outdoors
Update: have now had two fail in TWO days in outside lighting one the colder / frost came one bulb completely separated Lens to cone the second one (next day) split along the same joint. As stated a replacement for Philips bulbs one of which had been in from 1998. In conclusion a decent bulb if used indoors not suitable for all year outdoor useSeems a quality item used on my outdoor lighting replacing a Philips item that had been in for years. Good light spread only time will tell on durability

Delivery company needs to read labelling
The product appears to be very robust, considering the package had "Fragile" marked upon it, and the delivery company still dropped it over the high side gate and it also got soaked due to rain. I had two bulbs delivered and both do work, but what their life expectancy will be, due to their treatment, I do not know.
