Just as described
Got these to cover some ventilation holes that I drilled in a cabinet to make it look much cleaner. There is a thin later of foam in the cover that helps with dust. The plastic is very light weight but isn't the strongest. That isn't enough to knock any stars off, just be cautious when screwing them down and do not use a drill. The pieces are a little bit tricky to separate for mounting, but once you do one you understand how it works and it's very simple.Overall, the product does what I needed it to with no major downsides. The price is very reasonable making them a great value.

Better than expected.
These are pretty simple things, but even so, they were better than expected. I was pleased and surprised to find that the dust cover snaps on an off of the mounting plate, making it easy to clean or to replace the filter. Nice.

Bad air flow
Too much plastic obstructing air flow, decent filter material for the price. I kept them and ended up cutting most of the plastic ribs so there's just a cross shape of plastic, this increased air flow by ~30%

Filters nicely.... but
Works great for filtering... however the flow is quite restrictive and CPU temps rise considerably. If they got any considerable dust in them at all the temps would go much higher. Very good for what they are!

will NOT fit a fan
Could not use for my fans. Cover would not attach to the fan housing. no way to connect to a fan or a fan housing. JUNK!

Fairly restrictive
Fan would need to be much stronger to have good air flow through these filters. Otherwise good filters. Just not a good match for a small fan the filters are meant for unless you don't need the cfm the fan is rated for.
