Works great if a spark is all you need. Lots of uses including a charcoal or wood fire if you're using a liquid fire starter (or even a piece of paper). Great for lighting a candle. Love the loop for hanging it up. The previous one I had didn't have that, and this feature really comes in handy. Charges fast, holds a charge for a LONG time. Nice!

What can I say? This item is fantastic. I hardly ever need to charge it. No more burring my fingers. Easy to use with good battery indicator.

These lighters are awesome! I heard about them from Techno Santa on CBS and immediately ordered them as gifts for friends and kept a couple for myself. They work so well and make it easy to recharge and use again and again. My gal pals loved the gift! Be sure to get one for yourself!

This is the best solution for candle lighting ever. The only improvement it really needs is that the button to activate the arc should be more near the opposite end of the arc instead of the middle of the stick so that it's better in deep and narrow reaches. Changing that would be a very welcome improvement. If you don't have a narrow-cased candle that needs a deep reach as would be needed with long wooden matches or a long butane lighter then this option is the best. If you keep it charged, easy to do because the charge lasts a very long time, you will always be able to light as you need. Also, it has a switch to "arm" it to prevent it from being accidently ignited.

This lighter is easy to use and easy to charge. I've charged it once several.montgs ago and use to light candles. I haven't had to re-charge it. I like that it can be used outside in the wind. Yep. It will light in the wind. I liked this product so much , I gave it as Christmas gifts to my children and friends. That's 6 people or couples. They haven't had any issues and have told their friends about this lighter. This is a must have.

So this is a great candle or camping lighter... however there is both a button to activate it and an on off switch... the issue is after use if you dont switch it to off, it will drain the battery. Also seems to be finicky about what USB C charger it will let charge it. only works with 2 of our 8 blocks... they are all high output.
