I wrote this book review at 3 am
Amazon Prime sent this book to me water damaged, because they left a poorly wrapped poorly taped book out in our yard in the rain unprotected by our front porch, upon the first unsuccessful delivery , and I had to get a refund from Amazon. But I bought two of the very same Art school, Fashion Illustration major textbooks, This Fashion Illustration textbook that I selected to be used for my students in a University Art School class, purchased this time, from Dick Blick, arrived a week later, is , expertly authored by Manuella Brambotti, who is the top fashion illustrator for Versace par excellence, and a successful graduate of The Parsons School of Design,( I believe.) Upon actually reading this book, I couldn't be happier ! I am happy to review that Manuella Brambottis Fashion Illustration, Art School College textbook has a really great, very marketable, VERY USER AND TEACHER FRIENDLY ,RELATEABLE, DOWN TO EARTH , VERY EXPERIENCED fashion illustration , teaching style, as I myself was taught during Art School , using the classical basics of accurate fashion rendering with a CLEAR very marketable, Fashion illustration artistic style, and written in a student friendly communication style, which my American Art Fashion Design and fashion Illustration students will enjoy studying and emulating. Manuella Brambotti's Fashion Illustration style, will properly teach and effectively serve to train the Fashion Illustration students, in proper Fashion Illustration classical techniques. ( I personally , and privately" appreciate" that successful Artist and Fashion Illustration Manuella Brambotti is able to be" haute couture"and be high fashion " avante guarde" in her illustration style,( WITHOUT MISTAKENLY) going way too far over the top, and NOT managing to portray the clothes and the fashion models on the runway in the designs and fashion illustrations as being SO OVERLY AVANTE GUARD, so much so that the model and the clothes designed and worn on the fashion model, at ten am, the next day in front of a live audience, has thus inadvertantly become" so three o clock in the morning, and I am a fashion designer desperate and completely out ideas, so that over the top, paranoid, hopped up on coffee, making very bad decisions at 3 am, when you have pushed your Art, way too far , when weird, nightmarish, so avante guarde, bad ideas often occur , so unrelateable, SO completely out of this world , so impractical, and silly, that certain, less experienced and less talented fashion designers and fashion illustrators, who are NOT Manuella Brambotti, miss the boat so badly , by not getting any sleep, that they are no longer even on the same planet, And ANY WOMAN on earth, at the Chanel Paris fashion show can see when a," usually male", fashion designer, who will never wear this garment, has gone way too far, by becoming an utter and spectacular failure while working on the art project and becomes fashion design and illustration tragedy so strange, so high, up to the crotch slitted, so down to the naval sliced, unwalkable, tight itchy, smelly, burning sweaty, sticky, prickly, sweltering unsittable, unrelateable, TOILET PAPERED , URINATED ON,fashion monstrosity, ( we've all been there as artists working on design disasters at 3am)......., uncomfortable, RUBBER COVERED, duct taped, bondage S&M styled pierced tatooed hair producted, perfumed braless thong wearing, shaved avante guarde, neon, rainbow colored, glittered ATROCiTY etc, etc, etc.. YOU NAME IT...........every Art fashion designer, illustrator and art student has been there at 3am, that, the next morning, both the fashion model, and the clothes worn by the model are rendered " an insane spectacle" but, are just sadly styled as simply completely unrelateable, unsellable uncomfortable and totally UNWEARABLE,( Like, THANK YOU, author MANUELLA BRAMBOTTI, as a popular, successful artist and fashion designer in the fashion industry, FOR being a real fashion and Art professional, for NOT PORTRAYING, AND NOT CHOOSING TO ILLUSTRATE some of the WEIRD fetish filled, armpit hair showing ,untouched up six colored, dirty hair roots, slovenly, strange, unwashed? self- indulgent BS that some French fashions by certain " male"? fashion designers, try to pass off as "high fashion" whom at times, almost seem to like to" impose" their strange, unrelateable florid " avante guard weirdness on women models who seem to mock the entire fashion industry, mock the woman model, and mock every woman customer at the fashion show and attempt to HUMILIATE her innate feminine dignity for simply modelling some of the strange most overly revealing, unwearable avante guarde, inappropriate, immodest, space age, braless nipply , see through crotch shot butt crack showing humiliating clothes that you sometimes see on Paris runways, and cannot ever comprehend any AMERICAN woman in her right mind, at work in a business setting EVER CONSIDER wearing. Thank you . author, Manuella Brambotti, for being a great down to earth fashion illustrator, and for NOT going" there", with your textbook................................

Awesome, informative book
I can recommend this book to everyone who is intrested in fashion design, illustrating and drawing. The quality of the book itself is on very hight level, efforts that author put into it are huge. The book contains big amount of artworks of author, including those that was made for Versace, not only costumes, but acsessories and elements of interior too. Also, about half of the book contains tutorials, showing us how to draw a figure in different poses, to draw a face, to render whole costumes, textures and textiles. I am happy that I bought this book, it is a great addition to my library. Awesome.
