This works a treat, just roll it out with the bubbles on the bottom and blue sheet on top, it traps the heat and increases the pool temperature by a few degrees, it's effective for what it is and what's involved, but you will need a pool heater as well to help increase the temperature more.It also helps with stopping leaves and other stuff from falling in the pool.I don't think it will last more than 2 summers before the UV will damage it, but only time will tell.

I thought I'd write a fair review as peoples reviews have been negativeI got a new 12 ft steel pro max pool yesterday my old one was 10ft so this pool cover was 10 ft oneI finally got the pool filled this morning and the temperature was 17 1/2 degrees I put this cover in it even tho its to small and left it there for a few hours temperature of pool is now 20.3 degrees so it's went up 3 degrees with that to small of a cover and the sun in 3 hrs so it does work and probably work better when I get a proper size one for the new pool..

I was very sceptical of this. It looked just like bubble wrap. An expensive way to buy bubble wrap at that. But it came. And I tried. It’s just a bit bigger than our 12’ pool but that’s fine. It has no weight so is easier to put on than a normal heavy cover. First full day of sun today and the water was warm at least halfway down the pool. Complete difference to the old heavy black plastic cover.No idea how long it will last, but it definitely warmed the pool.

This is a sturdy pool - very easy to put up (certainly compared to the rectangular pools we’ve had previously. - will be easy to empty and put away in September.We’ve bought a solar cover that lies on tge water, stops almost all leaf debris.Going yo be used a lot this summer by grand children

I got this and it arrived in what looked like a zip up storage bag with clear window. I was suspicious, thought it was a second or returned item, without proper packaging. I unzipped a corner to inspect the cover and it looked like some of the individual solar cells were popped... i was reluctant to pull whole thing out as i knew I'd never get it back in... so i contacted the seller and said, I didn't like the look of it... doesn't look right... they said that is the standard packaging it comes in from Bestway and asked if I had taken the whole thing out yet. I said no (this was before UK pool season had started) so they said give it a try and contact us if it's damaged.Well, I did get it out after the season had started and it probably isn't damaged... but it is so thin and flimsy and so many cells are deflated that I decided it would be better to continue using the thicker, tougher cover that came with my Beatway pool in the first place. So I went the whole season using the older cover, that this newer one was supposed to replace. Sorry, it's just not up to the job.... but I'm unlikely to return it, as the cover has come out of the storage bag, and it's now ages since I bought it. Buy cheap buy twice

Seems ok. Not sure if it works better than the black cover originally supplied with the pool. It is essentially blue bubble wrap and nothing more. I brought the 14ft cover for a 12ft pool so it would hangover the frame and then clip it with beach pegs (also purchased on Amazon) to stop the cover moving or blowing off.

Warms the pool slightly in the sun and helps prevent heat loss at night so temperature drops less over night. It's basically just bubble wrap. You can spend a lot more on better/more effective thermal covers but for the price of this it does a good job. Fits my pool perfectly
