Complete Guide to Needlework

Very informative book

I had this book for years and years, and then something happened to it. Lost! I haven't felt quite right since.So, when I found an original hard copy in Very Good condition, I snapped this bad boy up and will never let him go. You don't get in-depth instruction, but it does provide basic information that will get you started. I've been making stuff for 60 years(!), and I still find tips and hints in this book. Everybody can use a refresher on the basics now and then.

I love to flip through this with a hot cup of tea or cocoa. its got lovely pictures and clear directions.

I bought the 1979 edition advertised as “new” from PearlCoral. The book was shrinked wrap and is really new for for over 43 years old. There is no yellowing spots. The knitting section has lots of illustrations and pictures of what finished stitches look like. I think this is going to help me a lot to begin learning to knit. I’ll get to do more advanced embroidery stitches too.I’m so glad to order this. The pictures are very useful. This third-party Amazon seller really delivers.

I love the book it’s taught me many new crochet stitches. Which I’m finding are getting harder to find thank you.

Great reference and idea book. Shows how to complete every stitch/needlecraft you would ever do. Great gift.

I haven't even received this book yet but I already know it! I had this book but gave it to a granddaughter who is learning to crochet. I hated to give it away but knew she could learn from it. When I found it on Amazon I immediately ordered it. It will arrive in a couple days and I am so excited to again have an old friend. You will not be disappointed if you buy this book! It is excellent!
