Note: These do not come with any pins. This isn’t a stand-alone set that can be used to build anything on its own. If you don’t already have LEGO Technic or other pin connector pieces, you won’t be able to do much, if anything, with these.Having said that, we do have other pieces these can be paired with, and my kids have enjoyed using them to create things. It was a great price for a bunch of pieces they can use in their builds. I didn’t count or compare the pieces to ensure they’re all here, but my 12-year-old says he’s pretty sure they are. A couple of the items were different colors than what is shown in the product images, but we don’t really care what color they are.

If you're into Lego as my husband and I are, and especially like to work with Lego Technic, then this is for you. There are so many different gear options. Just be forewarned that it doesn't come with any pins.

This SEEMY 233PCS Gear Set for Technic is a nice set of parts to add on to existing Technic kits. They parts are built well and fit perfectly with the existing parts. I do wish this set came with some axle pieces, but if you have them already, this is an excellent way to add new functionality!We paired some parts from this kit with a remote control motor and found it to be quite a good way to make some fun an inventive builds, including a little car! Recommended if you need to add gears to expand your builds!

I'm pretty new to the world of Lego technic parts, so I didn't know which parts I would need. This is not a standalone pack, you'll like need a pack with the axels as well. You can't do too much with just gear pieces by themselves.Once you have the basic components though, this pack should be a great addition to an already existing collection. There are lots of gear pieces and a few track type pieces. It has a good variety. As mentioned already, I'm pretty new to this, so I don't fully know what I'm doing with them yet. However, these have been fun for both myself and the little ones. Be warned that even though there are a lot of pieces in here, it is still easy to run out. The quality of the pieces seem really good and don't seem like they would break easily. I haven't put them under any load or anything, but they seem like they would handle normal stresses and torque very well.

My 14yo son really appreciated this 233 pc set of Technic gears as they are the primary building block he uses on all of his builds. He's never been one to order a Lego or similar brand building set and build based off the provided instructions. He has a very mechanical and technical mind therefore everything he builds comes out of his own mind. The Technic pieces are usually hard to come by without having to purchase an expensive Technic set that he really doesn't care for so it's really nice to be able to order sets such as these in order to provide him with the essential pieces for his creations. The pieces in this gear set match up perfectly with Lego brand and once they're all mixed together, you can't tell the difference. Love that these are so much more affordable then brand name and the quality is definitely superb.

I am not the technical person in our house and so I am not going to try to sound like it. What I know is that this bulk set of gears is a great and budget friendly buy for any Lego and Lego Technic lover! The pieces are compatible with the real thing. There is a good variety of gears and other associated pieces with several sizes. Our son opened them up and immediately set out to test their compatibility and quality.You can tell that they are not the "real" thing. Colors and materials on some of the pieces are a little off. However, they do connect up and work with the real thing just fine.Our set came separated into three sealed poly bags with similar pieces together. Those poly bags looked like they came straight out of a Lego kit!For around $.12 a piece (at time of review), these are a great buy!

As mentioned in the headline, this is an add on set - Cannot make anything with this set alone. That said this is a good value for a lot of gears to add on to an existing set. The plastic seems to be of great quality - Probably ABS like the real McCoy.
