I recently started to learn embroidery and have a beginner’s kit with a wooden hoop. I discovered I needed a smaller hoop and smaller needles but worried these hoops are plastic, not wood. I worried they wouldn’t work as well as the wooden hoop. Was I ever wrong! Not only did I get the size I need in both hoops and needles, but these hoops hold the fabric tighter which makes embroidery easier for me. I haven’t used all the different size hoops and needles yet but I am impressed with the quality. This is an excellent value for the money. I am very glad I ordered this set.

But these ended up working better than expected. I got a cross stitch kits online. The fabric was sooo stiff. Reviews said people had to purchase a rolling frame to do the work. And even then it was too stiff to work with. These plastic hoops are solid. It took me a bit, but I got it to work just fine. Very pleased with my purchase. Love the size options. I would buy again. Works better than the wooden ones. These have a ridge and locks it in. Hehe! Love it.

Very good and works well

I am so happy with the variety of sizes in this set. Nice and strong plastic made my embroidery projects easy. Super great value for the money. Holds the fabric nice and taught. Solid with no splintering of the plastic. Highly recommend

Perfect for many projects

Hoops are better made than I expected, given the low price. They're already in use. They hold the aida cloth firmly in place. Nice. Only draw back - the embroidery needles were not included in the cellophane package that held the hoops. Because I have already broken the plastic clip that held the 6 hoops together and am using 2 of them I am not returning for a replacement.

Great set of hoops at a low price! I only needed one, but this set was so reasonable. Easy to use!
