RECOMMEND: Bluetooth Adaptor with Alexa on the side!
Added Bluetooth to my non-bluetooth car. Works seamlessly, quick to restart after car ignition, very useful as just a Bluetooth pass through to car speakers. (+Alexa).Looks nice, with Bluetooth connected it goes blue, fits in with my car interior. Is study, surprisingly small, sounds great. I got on spring sale so good value.

good but needs more improvement
ok this is by far an improvement over the first version of Alexa autobut does have some flawsthe speaker is EXTREMELY quiet and you can just about hear itluckily its only used if its not connected too a phone ..it is also not very loud when talking on your phone and stereo if you have your media playingand you CANNOT TURN HER VOICE UP its fixedthe leds adjust too the light levels and dim in the dark .. but they dim far too much and if you turn this feature off the leds don't come on at allone final issue is she does not use phone mode when talking so your stereo wont interrupt too hear her if your not on the Bluetooth audio setting or on android autoyou cannot rename it in the app it stays called ( ANT245) whatever that isit NEEDS an led too be on constantly so you know where it is in the dark cos i have lost and fumbled about for it loads ..that's the bads out of the waythe goods are she's fast she's responsive and can work even with the audio up loudits small and does easily fit in with the cars aesthetics too a pointi do love this device but it needs some extra features and tweaking as its very bare bones right now still

Was going to be sent back...Now love it! If you have constant disconnection issues, read this!
I drive an old 54 plate Honda civic with an aftermarket Sony stereo, which has Bluetooth. I use a Samsung S22 Ultra which connects to it. The whole reason I got this is because I use amazon music to play songs in my car through my Bluetooth stereo, I was able to skip back and forth with my stereo, but if I wanted a specific song I had to unlock my phone (naughty I know), so the music app was up, and then I was able to ask alexa to play a certain song or genre/playlist. I know amazon music can be set to stay lit up on screen, so you can ask alexa to play a song in the amazon music app, but I didn't like this as I didn't want my battery draining.I was originally going to send it back as the echo auto constantly lost connection with my phone...it was driving me mad as couldn't get 2 minutes through a song without it saying 'Sorry, lost connection with the Alexa App'. I tried 'forgetting' the device in my phones Bluetooth list, resetting the echo auto to factory reset...but nothing would work. I thought it was a load of rubbish, loosing patience with it and was going to send it back.I then spoke to customer support through the amazon app and he asked is the alexa app up to date, as this is what the echo auto connects to through your phone's Bluetooth. I thought what a stupid question! of course it is! my phone automatically updates my apps!I went into the Google play store and checked for updates and it said no updates available. I thought I would be thorough and search for the actual alexa app in the play store, I clicked on it, and it said enable?! I thought how can it say enable, when I have the app on my phone and just used it?! After clicking enable it then said update, which I did and reopened the alexa app...it now works perfectly with no connectivity issues what so ever! I couldn't believe something so simple could cause so many issues. So if you have an android device (I'm assuming the same with iphone) be sure the alexa app is up to date. Even if it says no updates in the play store, search for it, click on it and ensure it's 'enabled' and then up to date. I don't understand how it couldn't have been in the first place as I was using the alexa app?! But that solved all my issues with the constant loss of connection. Useful, But Some Connection Hiccups
I’ve been using the Echo Auto for a bit now, and it’s a decent addition to my car, but there are a few drawbacks. The voice commands are really convenient for hands-free tasks, like changing music, asking for directions, or checking the weather while driving. It’s easy to set up, and it connects well with my phone’s Bluetooth. However, the connection isn’t always reliable, and I sometimes need to reconnect it, which can get annoying. Also, the sound quality for calls isn’t as good as I expected, especially when compared to other in-car devices.Pros:Convenient hands-free Alexa commandsEasy to set up and useGood for music and simple tasksCons:Connection issues can be frustratingCall quality could be betterOverall, it’s a handy gadget, but it’s not perfect. Worth it if you’re a big Alexa fan, but not essential.
