CHAMBERLAIN B2401 Smart Quiet Belt Drive Garage Door Opener, Gray

Had some issues installing it but it works properly. I am considering buying a second one for the other garage door I have.

It was super easy to install. It shipped in a timely manner great product.

Seems to be a very good Garage Door and works well. Not bad to assemble, but you may need some assistance in actually getting it mounted into your ceiling. It is not heavy, but when you connect the far end to above the Garage door, it is very likely that if you are solo that you will damage it. This unit does support WIFI. What I like about it is not using it to open the door, but more so to see if the door opens when you are not there. You can also remote from anywhere with WIFI or cellular capability open the door from remote so they can put a package inside, or even if you want to open it to allow someone else that you trust to go inside. There are a tone of options with this one. While the unit is not Noisy or over loud, you can hear it operate! There was 1 critical Part that was missing, and a quick contact to support at Chamberlin they had one immediately shipped out to me with out any questions.

I like the unit. It is smooth and very quiet. It went up as most garage door openers. What I did not like, and I’m old school, was the fact there were no paper directions or any to print that I could find. Plus the video was animated or no one real. It’s hard to, at least for me, work off a ladder with a phone in my hand. I’m use to manual labor but I don’t like climbing up and down a ladder dozens of times more than I should.One more thing, I took down a genie with a screwdrive and that unit, you could unlock the trolley and move the door to any position and re-lock the trolley back into that screwdriver and it would not move manually. Now it does have a battery back up so as long as that works, I guess things will be OK.Otherwise, I like the unit. Hope this helps. All in all I think you would have a quality unit.

Although this was a little difficult to install, the instructional videos made it more straightforward. It is extremely quiet and the feature to be able to open it remotely through Wi-Fi while home or away is excellent. Very happy with his purchase.

device was bought new and arrived wrapped:issue 1: the installation manual was not designed for my opener, meaning some parts in the diagrams did not match all throughout the guide and needlessly made installation worse then it needed to beissue 2. my device is clicking once when the open command is triggered. theres no explaination in the manual for this behavior or how to fix it, online over a year ago someone stated the same thing and again, there was no updating the manual at all to address this or the other command functionsissue 3: the app is saying that the lasers are misaligned when they arent and is not didplaying anything for issue 2 at all. when u trigger "open" from the app it dies nothing and says nothing at all. the fact this app has no error code or sensing abiliry for when the opener fails is *mind boggling* in tbeory they already have all the tech on the door opener available to tell you something but chose in the design not toissue 4: unless u fail on very specific pages of the installation process, you cannot contact customer support, the app *does* making contacting a teusted partner who will bill you readily available, which is a shame, a true disgusting shame that chamberlain has chosen its contracters over its customers in the app when apps are not supposed to be designed this wayissue 5: the manual is showing a pin code access remote that never was in the box, this is either another example of the writer being incompetent or their qc process being insulting. take ur picissue 6: the wall switch has one hole in the plastic for a screw and you need to screw in 2. meaning you will need to do some pointlessly complicated dry wall work and hope u dont screw up just because chamberlain could find a better solution for the motherboard not having a second hole in it.a very aggravating experience and i dont even know what my actual problem is yet. i likely got a dead board and will need to waste days tearing it all down again because u cant test any of this on the ground
