Open your eyes!
Probably one of the easiest reads that most likely will save your life. The information about cancer is vast and everywhere. This doctor points out the crazy statistics of how we are failing in the cure for cancer. Off label protocols might led to a new future.

Excellent book - I learned an incredible amount
This is a monumental book, along with his other, Cancer Secrets. I've read it through twice, and I have underlined all the great parts in it, and placed bookmarks throughout. This is a must read. 1) It would be helpful to know what sort of better success rates by cancer type his treatments have resulted in. Is Disease Free Survival and Progression Free Survival at all impacted? What changes has he seen in the 5-year survival percentages? 2) Don't expect your oncologist to believe, must less use, in their practice, any of the scientific discoveries you will red about in this book: they only know what they were taught. You won't hear anything about diet, fasting, or exercise (these are your only tools other than being your own advocate). As the author correctly states, progress in medicine happens slowly, made one physician death at a time. 3) The sad depressing truth is that any cancer treatment that will put your cancer in indefinite remission is many, many years away. Why? To find out, beyond what Dr. Stegall has pointed out in this book, is the book Blind Spots by Dr. Makary (https://www.amazon.com/Blind-Spots-Medicine-Wrong-Health/dp/1639735313/). These two doctors have done more for medicine than hundreds before them. If you have been diagnosed with cancer, or if you are a caregiver, you absolutely must read the critical information in these 3 books.

Cancer Secrets
Great, helpful book with lots of good knowledge about dealing with cancer from an Oncologist in Atlanta who says it very much matters what you eat while battling cancer!

Reviews different types of fasting and the benefits associated with each.
I thoroughly enjoyed learning about the different ways and windows of fasting; 16:8, 20:4, Alternate Day Fasting, multi-day fasts, etc. and the benefits associated with each. Easy to read and follow, this book is a great addition to any patient or caregiver's library.

Informative book
I strongly suggest you read this book if you want to lose weight but even more importantly if you have health issues. This was an easy to read and very informative book. It was the motivative I needed to embrace intermittent fasting. I chose the 16:8 method as it works best with my lifestyle. Highly suggest this book!

Surprised
I stumbled upon this book and read it on a whim. Very glad I did, it is an awesome book! Dr Stegall is very well-rounded, reasonable, and accessible. He is not extreme, and seems humble. He focuses on the application of science based tools for promoting health and well being. It's very practical and full of useful information. I kind of wish we lived near his oncology practice (or at least had an integrative oncologist nearby). Highly recommended book!
