I leave it unplugged until I use it. It has a good indicator and can be switched between different amperages. The battery levels do some weird stuff when switching though so be careful if you have lower quality batteries. I keep it at .5 amps. Make sure you use the proper voltage wall brick. It tells you what it takes on the back. And research your battery to know what amps it can take.

Yes, the product I bought said to buy a separate battery charger as the charging ports would give out eventually. But did I listen? No. And the charging ports gave out.Rather grudgingly I went on Amazon to find a charger. This seemed to have much more than I needed or wanted but it was the right price so...And I love it. I am an old lady. I don't want fancy or technical or something that needs an app or has too many "features".This one? I love how it has sliders so you don't have to fumble getting the batteries in just so. You pull the slider down and just snap that battery in. And it tells you if you put it in the right way and gives you the charging percentage. I don't know what all the numbers and voltages mean - just that it is working and when the charging is done. And that's all I need. It just plain works. It also seems well made and like something that will last for years and not explode on me or something. I like the sense of safety.

My favorite expensive flashlight will no longer charge, so this was my solution. I was able to charge both batteries at once and have a visual display of the levels. Charger has a usb-c port powering it, so most phone chargers do the trick

It charged the solar batteries that I had but they all would not go to 100. Wish it had a direct wall plug. I'm not sure my usb adapter was proper so that could be a problem.

This battery charger is an important aide for my Lithium batteries. I've used it twice and it works exceptionally good to recharge my back-up batteries.

Works great!! I like that you can see what percentage of charge is on the battery as well as the ability to adjust the charging amperage.
