Canister:This canister worked great to fix my vacuum. It is made well and fits correctly. I would easily recommend it as a replacement part. When I looked on the Dyson website the genuine part was not available. I ended up upgrading to the Dyson animal version and am glad I did. For Dyson there are the upright vacuums and the cordless versions. We have hardwood floors with some area rugs and the portable is all that is needed most of the time. The upright is usually reserved for deep cleaning and the portable for most tasks like floors, rugs, dusting, crevices, cobwebs and such. I received an Animal V11 from my mom as a gift. Very powerful for deep cleaning jobs like cleaning the cooling fins on the refrigerator or heat pump heat exchanger. Having a dry set means you can always use your vacuum in case of a spill.https://amzn.to/3S1rTs6For any Dyson vacuum be sure to empty the canister before it reaches the “max” line on the canister or the filters will clog much faster with fine dust and you will lose suction. Not only that but is is way harder to empty when full or over full. Try to not go past the half way full point for the best results. I have a number of Dyson vacuums dating back the yellow DC35 which is still going strong today.

I bought this as a replacement on a dyson v15 and this dust bin is even better than the original. It fits on easily and is a breeze to empty. I always had to stick my hand in the original to pull out pet hair but I don't have to do that with this one. The release glides easily and it empties completely, every time! It also looks good and has stayed clear.

Great replacement canister! It fits and functions just as well as the original brand, but at a lower cost. The quality is excellent and has been performing effectively!

It's just as good as the original but when you open up the bottom clamp to empty it the entire assembly comes off aside from that it's great

The original dust bin broke after 3 years of use, decide to try this and its very good.

Was dubious, this fits and works great. I can’t say it’s any larger than the original. But it’s working well. If you have a v11 that you won’t part with and the bin has worn out. This is the answer.
