Q: Battery fully charged and connected to the headset, but is not giving any power. Does the headset need to have power for the battery pack to work?

No. The charger in the back will charge the headset as it loses power, it has to be on tho (blue lights on), if the lights aren't on the battery back it doesn't charge the headset, from my experience
