A compact, lightweight and sturdy dual monitor - Can combine both halves into a big external screen
When I saw the new UPERFECT Delta Dual Monitor my love of gadgets has gained the upper hand over pragmatism, I thought about numerous possibilities this dual-screen setup presents and ordered it.The monitor uses a solid aluminum frame, looks good, feels very sturdy, has narrow bezels, and is shipped with an extensive set of cables: 2 x USB-C cables (one for power, another one for the video signal), a mini-HDMI to HDMI cable (for connecting to computers not equipped with DP-over-USB3 or USB4 ports), and an USB-A to USB-C cable to install the driver (only required if you use the HDMI cable). The driver is provided on an emulated USB drive built into the monitor. One needs to install it; otherwise only the bottom half of the dual monitor displays the picture.Hint. Be patient when the computer reboots after you install the monitor driver. The upper screen gets the signal through the lower one, and it starts to display the picture with a noticeable delay, only when all startup apps (including the monitor driver) are loaded. The bottom screen is fired up first, and the upper screen follows in several seconds. The delay depends on how many applications are included in the Startup sequence, and on the overall speed of the CPU/GPU. There are NO visible delays after that, during normal work.I have tried various combinations, such as extending the laptop screen to two separate screens (upper and lower halves of the dual screen display different windows) or combining both parts of the dual screen into a single big screen (see details below).PROs1. You get a big, but very compact and solid portable monitor. When folded for travel it is quite similar in size/weight to regular, single-screen portable monitors.2. You can extend the laptop screens to both external screens and seamlessly display/work with three different windows simultaneously.3. You can also combine both screens/halves into a single, bigger monitor and stretch any window to the edges of the combined dual screen. You need to open Display Settings in Windows and complete two simple steps:a) drag screen 3 (upper part) onto screen 2 (lower part) and apply changes; thenb) drag screen 3 above screen 2 (the top half must be above the bottom half, just as in real life) and apply changes again. After that vertical mouse pointer movement takes it between both halves of the dual screen, and the dual device acts as a bigger, combined monitor.4. You only need a single USB-C cable to operate both the lower and the upper screen when connected to a modern computer (that supports the DP over USB-C protocol).Wishlist.While the monitor is well-built and performs without a hitch, one is always looking for things that can be improved even further, especially given that this is a brand-new product... Hereās my list (nothing major):1. It would be great if both parts of the dual screen could work without a driver, at least in a single configuration. For example, as a combined big monitor, or duplicating the original laptop screen. This would make it simpler for some people to set up the product, and would also work for folks using corporate, managed computers where driver installation is simply prohibited.2. Provide the monitor driver as a file downloadable from the product web page (not on an emulated USB drive built into the monitor itself). That way users will always be able to install the latest version of the driver, which is without doubt going to be updated in the future. Also, external USB drives are simply not allowed in many managed corporate environments.3. Improve the driver, so that when both screens are combined into a single, unified screen, the Maximize button maximizes the window to the edges of the combined screen. (At the moment it maximizes it to either the lower or the upper part of the dual screen).4. Make sure that the Windows 11 driver also supports ācompleteā duplication of the laptop screen to both halves of the external dual screen (AAA mode, with all three screens displaying the same picture). This mode is especially useful for in-office presentations/demos. This functionality is only supported on Mac computers at the time of this writing, according to the manufacturer.5. Move the ports above the kickstand, so that they are accessible when the kickstand is folded. Hiding the ports behind the folded kickstand is neat, and it works well if/when the kickstand supports the monitor. But if the monitor is attached to a VESA mount, one needs to open the kickstand slightly just to get access to the ports (see the attached photo). Nothing critical, but it prevents flush mounting on a wall.

Product received is not the same as in the videos, less ports and requires driver for top monitor
The video for this product shows 3 usb c ports and 2 displayport/hdmi ports (hard to tell which they are) and they advertise that two different products can connected and displayed on each monitor. This in also false as the driver has to be running on a computer to display anything on monitor 1. Despite having 2 usb c ports, without the driver installed it will only display on the lower monitor. There is no other way possible to display anything on the top monitor without that driver. which means nothing other than a PC will work on it.

You don't think you need this at all until you have it!!!
The media could not be loaded. I honestly bought this item based on the fact that I think the dual portable monitor setup is just awesome. I really didn't know what I would need 3 screens for at the same time on the go. When I ordered I figured it would just be a fun test ending in a likely return, man did that change...Lets start off with the pros:The thinness of this item is seriously impressive considering all the features and combinations that you can do with it. This monitor can be powered by a single cable (more on that in "cons" with a thunderbolt compatible laptop/USB-C cable. No mess of needing to deal with docking stations or finding a power source to plug into that is also close to your device. Simply open your laptop, connect the cable, and you're off to three screens of productivity. These delta style (dual monitor) portable monitors typically come at a price point that doesn't make it accessible for young professionals. Now while you are still spending some money, the quality you get for the price on this monitor is hard to beat. I was impressed to the point where I was almost disappointed because after plugging this into my desktop first the screen looked better than my main curved gaming monitor (which was not cheap by any means). I even changed the plain background on my desktop just so I could enjoy looking at the monitor when I wasn't using it. At home it's placed in a fairly dark room so you can't tell if the item produces any glare or not. So I took it into work at the fire training academy where I work in a room full of windows and bright fluorescent lights. I couldn't even tell the difference it produced such good quality, which brings me onto my next pro.Portability: I already mentioned how thin this is, but the addition of VESA compatibility along with a sturdy kickstand means I can grab this thing and go. I installed a quick release VESA mount so I can pop it off its stand at home and take it to work and use the kickstand and continue being able to multi-task easily.Ease of Use: I was afraid that the computer mouse would have difficulty switching between the main monitor and the other two monitors. Again I was wrong and it seamlessly goes from screen to screen without any lag or issues. If this was not the case I would have returned the item, but impressively it was able to handle it with multiple heavy-computing programs running all at once.Cons: I have to say a few even if there really are not any. I will say the manual that comes with it can be a little confusing as I first interpreted the instructions saying I had to have my USB-C power supply cable, Mini HDMI cable, and a USB-C to USB-A all plugged in at once to use this. Maybe it was just me rushing through the manual but I quickly found out this is not the case and you ACTUALLY can use a single cable to run 3 monitors with nothing else.Other than that I wish it did have compatibility with Chromebooks. They do state that this product isn't so I really can't complain. I still can get a dual monitor setup with my Chromebook however (main device screen and one of the two monitors). I think I could probably find a workaround for this but I've been impressed enough with using it with PC's that I'm not worried about it. I will update this review if I find a way to make this work with my Acer Spin 714.Overall: Highly recommended by me, I think UPERFECT is on a great track of making great products at affordable prices. The color, ease of use, productivity, and portability makes this a winner for me. I've been using it for maybe close to 3 weeks now without any issue. My brother (works as a computer engineer liked this enough after seeing mine that he ended up buying one himself too. Simply impressed!Slight Edit: To avoid confusion just wanted to clarify that use with a single cable requires BOTH a thunderbolt 3/4 compatible device paired with a thunderbolt 3/4 USB c cable

Glitchy with Mac; Driver to use both screens is "in" the monitor when you plug it in
Decent monitor overall, but with a Mac, the top screen is glitchy even after installing the drivers. For example, I changed my cursor size and it works on my main screen, the lower screen, but not on the top screen. This is true of a lot of things.I've seen some one-star reviews that state the driver isn't anywhere online; this is probably true because the monitor shows up on a Mac as an external hard drive with the Driver installer within it.I bought this so I had an extended monitor at all three of my offices, but I could have purchased 3 $100 27-inch monitors that could be vertical and still save a little bit overall. They would most likely have similar screen quality as well. For how much I paid for the monitor, I was hoping it worked better with my setup.
