great for older kiddos
Perfect for a child that is a little older - 8 to 10. Nice, sturdy items. the colors were more realistic than the regular toy kits. nice and large for older child. Many insects have been studies in our home now.

This was a birthday gift for my 4 yo grandson. He loved it! He caught some toads and had them in the specimen cage in no time.

Do not recommend
Not worth the price. Pieces are flimsy and easy to break. We had this a week's only used a hand full of times and several things are broken.

Everything Broke first days of having it
Our son is very engaged and loved playing with this bug catcher. For the price I was a little shocked when the net already came shredded looking. After a few times playing with it the doors broke off, pieces went missing that hold the door on, and the plastic all cracked on each piece. Disappointed!

I bought this as a gift but it is not packaged for gift giving. It is also VERY overpriced for what you get. So disappointed.
