Extremely well packed by Honeywell, which is just as well as Amazon box was damaged. Excellent design and manufacturing. Very easy to connect pieces together and gives off good lighting whether it’s reading, writing or watching TV. The remote is simple to operate but annoying that it has to be pointed directly towards the sensor on the stand upright - who on earth sits facing into a light? In my opinion the magnet on the back of the remote does not feel strong enough to stay attached to the stand for any length of time, and I don’t want to test it out! The control panel works well and is preferable for me as it is behind my right shoulder. From the reviews listed, 10 were from UK customers and ALL of these were supplied free to Vine Customers. Of the 83 non-UK reviewers 73 were freebies to Vine customers. No wonder the lamp is so dear compared to others on the market. Despite my gripes it is the best lamp we have bought in 50+ years.

Product easy to assemble. It’s excellent as a reading light or background light (can vary the brightness settings with remote or on the lamp itself). Build quality is excellent and compared to some reading lights very good value for money. Size is not an issue and the lamp itself has a weighted base. Easy to move if required.

This is great for my desk at work – it has enough height to tower over my monitors and has a great range of motion that allows me to position the light to just where I need it. The fact that I can adjust the brightness and colour temperature makes for a more pleasing workspace.It requires a little assembly, but it’s really easy. A post screws onto the very heavy base, and the adjustable arm and lamp assembly slides over post and is secured by a small screw. Simple.The light can be controlled by a touch sensitive area on the post, or by the remote control. The remote works via IR, and therefore requires line of sight to the sensor for it to function.I like this lamp a lot but there are a few negative points for me considering the fairly high cost (£180 when I ordered it).The remote should be RF based so that line of sight is not required. I don’t imagine most people will be seated facing a lamp.It does not remember settings if power is turned off at the plug; it reverts to its factory default. It also does not resume from power loss so it’s not possible to use it with a smart plug to schedule unattended timers etc. For this price some built in functionality to offer some smart features would not be unexpected.It’s a really nice lamp but could certainly be improved.

The HONEYWELL Floor Lamp Dimmer LED Standing Lamp with Remote is a very good sturdy lamp. The lamp is easy to put together and is very tall, but can be moved to different positions. The light is like a see through mesh. I was quite surprised how bright the light is. It does come with a remote control which is easy to use, and has a magnet so it sticks on the stand so you won't misplace it , also has a touch control on the stand that you just slide up and down with your finger.Great qualityNice and sturdyNice and brightRecommended

Great light. But the joint on the top arm broke after a few weeks just from regular use. Now trying to return it.
