Zugegeben, die Materialqualität dieses digitalen Mikroskops ist nichts besonders hochwertiges, aber bei dem Preis sollte man auch seine Ansprüche entsprechend anpassen. Abgesehen vom Stab zur Höhenverstellung ist das gesamte Gerät aus Kunststoff.Die Montage ist denkbar einfach: Höhenverstellung auf den Stab schieben und dann auf die Grundplatte stecken – Mikroskop in die Halterung setzen und fertig.Nun kann man einerseits das gesamte Gestell in der Höhe verstellen und auch die Halterung des Geräts nochmal in der Höhe anpassen. Zum Scharfstellen gibt es dann noch ein weiteres Rad. Das ist alles kinderleicht und intuitiv.Die Bildqualität des Bildschirms ist vollkommen in Ordnung. Mit Buttons kann man das Gerät anschalten und die Zoomstufen einstellen. Seitlich gibt es noch ein Rädchen, mit dem man die Helligkeit der LED-Lampe stufenlos einstellen kann.Im Lieferumfang ist außerdem eine Micro SD Karte enthalten, die es ermöglicht, Aufnahmen und Videos zu speichern. Ein USB-Stick liegt dem Gerät ebenfalls bei. Per Kabel kann man das Gerät auch am Computer anschließen. Das Gerät wird dann einfach als externe Kamera erkannt.Da ich in der Druckbranche tätig bin, gehört es zu meinem Alltag, Druckprodukte genauer unter die Lupe zu nehmen. Dieses Gerät wird dabei in Zukunft meinen guten alten Fadenzähler ersetzen. Gleichzeitig eignet es sich hervorragend zum Experimentieren und Erkunden für mein Kind.Für beide Anwendungen ist dieses Mikroskop bestens geeignet.Man bekommt hier also definitiv ein – unter Berücksichtigung des Preises – sehr gutes Gerät, welches ich jederzeit weiterempfehlen werde.

Un simpatico oggetto, non lo definirei un vero microscopio in quanto gli ingrandimenti non mi sembrano proprio i 1000X della descrizione. I materiali della struttura mi sembrano un po' economici, quasi tutta plastica. Il gruppo telecamera-luci-schermo visore-batteria è semplicemente infilato in un anello senza nessun sistema di ritenuta. Pratico quando devi riporlo ma rende l'inquadratura instabile. Il sistema di regolazione "fine" dell'altezza è piuttosto duro e anche qui la stabilità dell'inquadratura ne risente. Non c'è un sistema di nessun tipo per bloccare gli oggetti da osservare sotto l'obiettivo, va bene che non stiamo parlando di un vero microscopio ma almeno una sottile mollettina fatta con una lamina di acciaio si poteva mettere...Si tratta comunque di un bell'oggetto che funziona tutto sommato bene. Lo schermo è chiaro, la risoluzione è sufficiente, le luci a LED si possono regolare in intensità con una rotellina sul fianco destro del visore mentre sul lato sinistro c'è la presa di ricarica e l'alloggio per una schedina di memoria fornita con l'apparecchio, dove memorizzare scatti o filmati di quanto si sta osservando. Purtroppo però per poter rivedere immagini e video bisogna estrarre la schedina e usare un lettore esterno. Si sarebbe potuto dare la possibilità di rivedere il tutto sullo schermo già che c'è.Non sarà possibile vedere microorganismi o simili, ma come ingranditore di piccoli oggetti o come aiuto per togliere piccole spine da un dito (come ho provato) va più che bene. Magari il prezzo a cui viene proposto è un tantino alto per quanto offre.Non ho ancora capito l'uso del riquadro plastico nero da un lato e bianco dall'altro, fornito nella confezione...

First of all the instructions are very poor. There was little to no info on setting up the microscope nor how to operate it. There was a 3 x 2" white plastic piece that I had no idea what it was for and I could not find anything about it on the product page or the manual.I was pleased with the resolution on the screen. It was crisp and sharp and gave great detail for the level of magnification.Interestingly, I initially thought the microscope had only one level of magnification because when I initially worked with it, I found myself focusing on a dollar bill with the device touching the bill. This gave a fairly robust magnification letting me see Washington's eye on a $1 bill almost completely filling the LCD screen. Because there was no explanation in the manual about how to change the magnification, I initially thought this was the only view I had. But while I was playing around with the device, I noticed that when you move the device further from the object you are looking at that you could then refocus the scope. Focusing the scope at greater distances from the object is how you change the magnification.On the $1 bill, I could have most of Washington's face show up on the screen when the scope was placed at its furthest distance from the object using the stand. And as I noted earlier, with the scope resting on the bill, Washington's eye almost filled the screen.I remember in biology lab looking at plant cells. Using an optical magnification of 1000x, the limit with simple microscopes, I could see details in a cell, like the nucleus. This scope comes nowhere near that magnification power. Maybe 100x? The interior of a cell is a lot smaller than Washington's eye on a $1 bill.Also, using the digital magnification which is claimed to be 1x to 4x, I was able to see 2mm of the ruler on the screen at maximum magnification before using the digital magnification buttons. Using digital magnification at 4x, I was able to see 1mm. Therefore, the digital magnification only seems to increase the view by 2x, not 4x?I did not feel comfortable hooking this up to my regular computer due to malware concern and other issues. I would have felt more comfortable doing so if it was supported by google play or microsoft store which then would have meant it was vetted before being approved for use.I would have rated the microscope a 3/5 based on the above problems, however, because of what I considered excellent resolution with a clear sharp image on the LCD screen, I gave it a 4. This microscope does not replace a good 1000X optical microscope because of its limitations on magnification. However, for uses within the range of its true magnification ability, it does a nice job and can be useful for a number of observations both for entertainment and other uses.
