These are very cute and do not squeeze your head. They are definitely an “accessory” and won’t really protect your eyes from the sun.

We wore these out at the lake all day for Memorial Day, and probably will for the 4th of July too. It's a sturdy plastic, and the colors haven't faded. I still recommend wearing a hat with them, they don't do the best job at blocking the sun.

Purchased these for my daughter, who is spending most of her summer as a camp counselor. Her camp has theme days, one of which is "Americana." These are perfect for her and her friends to wear on the theme day. They're light but still sturdy. No sharp or scratchy edges on the plastic. The fit is not too snug. I don't anticipate they'll last longer than camp season, but they're great for the purpose.
