I am so chuffed with these stands. The design, engineering and packaging blew me away. (The latter, strangely, is so important as that is where the user experience begins).Threading the cables took a bit of thinking about. I understand that the profile needs to be as slender a possible so the Era 100 cable plug is always going to be a tight fit. I struggled on the first stand. I’d figured it out for the second.The plug has to be positioned perfectly across the widest part of the casting (obviously the opposite plane to the screw thread mounts); even slightly off can make it jam. And then only the lightest touch is needed to guide the cable through; gravity is not enough, but more than a slight touch causes the cable to kink and the plug to jam.The first speaker took 30 minutes or more to assemble, most of it being cable threading; the second took 10 tops!I like another reviewer’s idea of attaching a string to pull the cable though but I imagine only a light touch is needed. And someone else mentioned using a hammer to help the connecting piece into place - I used the wood end of a steak hammer! Just a tap.Overall, a superb speaker stand. Sturdy, aesthetically pleasing and great value compared with others available.

Very pleased with these high quality speaker stands. Great design, easy to assemble, very well packed and quite heavy making them very stable.I watched a YouTube video in how to assemble prior to delivery that made the cable threading through the tube simple.They look a quality product in the living room.

Easy to set up. Very sturdy base. Does the job perfectly well and a lot cheaper than paying Sonos prices.

A bit fiddley to put together and as other customers have stated tricky to get connections up the tubes. I used string as suggested by another reviewer and that helped greatly. When completed and yo want to move it you need two hands upper and lower or the weight of the speaker and Base plate with start pulling connection apart. I would suggest to the manufacturers that they place retaining screws either side of the upper and lower connection. However one fully assembled and in place they look good especially behind the sofa where no cable is visible.

Well please good solid stand came well boxed contents well boxed good quality product wire well hidden down middle of main pole which is in two sections which you join together on assembly

Does the job but there are two plastic connections that push into place joining the two sections together, they are too flimsy and the speaker weight makes them lean and not straight ok but a little disappointed.

These are really nice stands and I'm happy with how they look in my living room. I also wanted to note that whilst they are easy to build I had an issue with mine (which is likely to have been my own mistake) and I needed some help from support. I didn't hold out much hope when I emailed them but then Paul from Soundbass got in touch. I can genuinely say that the help he provided was the probably the best customer service I have ever experienced. He consistently went well beyond what I would have expected and it really was fantastic. Would highly recommend this company for your purchases across their inventory.

I recommend to pull the era 100 cable through the pipe with string as the plug on the cable is quite wide so will not flow through freely, the string works perfectly.A small hammer is recommended to gently fix the connectors and the top plate using minimal pressure.I also recommend two people to put together would make it easier but I did manage alone.Overall I am so pleased with the stands as very robust and very slick.Highly recommended.Mark.
