It became more than just a therapy lamp. It’s the main source of light in my bedroom (I love how is diffusing the light, have different intensities, color temperatures, remote working very well and that I can program it to turn off and I can move it around— which is good for different type of work)— plus, occasionally I use it for what it was designed for.

I set up the SAD lamp using a smart plug, scheduled to turn on every morning at 7 AM through a mobile app. The smart plug is not included with the lamp, but it’s necessary if you want it to turn on automatically. The built-in timer on the lamp only works to turn it off and needs to be set manually each time—it does not have an option to turn itself on.I keep the lamp on my bedside, and I’ve found it to be a very effective way to start the day. It took about four weeks before I noticed a difference, and I’ve now been using it every day for seven weeks. The lamp remembers the last brightness and color settings, so when used with a smart plug, it turns on with the same settings automatically.At this point, I’m able to wake up naturally before the lamp even turns on, and I’ve noticed an improvement in both the quality of my sleep and my overall energy levels.I rarely use the included remote. I recommend using the lamp at full brightness for 15 minutes; any longer might feel too intense.

In December, I found myself crying for a week straight, seemingly without any reason. My neighbour suggested I might have seasonal affective disorder (SAD) due to the lack of sunlight and recommended getting a lamp. I chose this lamp because it came with a stand and several adjustable settings. I couldn’t believe it—after just two days of using the lamp, I woke up in the morning feeling like myself again. The sadness was completely gone, and I just felt normal. I use the yellow light setting, starting with 10-15 minutes and gradually increasing the time. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this product is a must-have if you suffer from seasonal depression.

Purchased through me by my sister in law. She is delighted with the product. Having used one of these light before she says this is the best one she has bought. It is easy to use and the variety of settings meets her needs.

It's a good sturdy lamp that according to various apps seems to fulfill the specs given. When close to me the lux is around 7000, low flicker and appears to be full spectrum. Generally a decent option for a budget full spectrum SAD light

I've always struggled in the winter months so decided to try one of these lamps.It's only been a day of use so far but I'm pretty confident it will help. The lamp is very well made and worth the money.

So far so good but we are building up the usage slowly as advised on the booklet. Surprised to hear that it advised against its use for those suffering depression or those people already taking anti depressants .We thought the SAD lamp was actually designed to lift mood precisely for that cohort.Too early to tell if it will be beneficial in the longer run.
