I just received this epilator today and I am amazed. I take oral minoxidil and if you've never taken it I'm here to tell you it will make you hairy everywhere (great for lashes, head hair, nails, and eyebrows though haha). I usually have my coworkers wax my upper lip, eyebrows and dermaplane my face but you're not supposed to dermaplane often and waxing my entire face will make me break out badly. I recently started a product with retinol and other actives to help fade an acne scar on my face so the waxing is a no go right now. I used this device literally an hour ago and wow. My facial hair is gone, my skin feels smooth, and it didn't hurt at all even when I used the nose/brow attachment ( I haven't done my brows). I did it on freshly washed, dry skin and it was so easy to use. It also has a little light too so you can see the hairs that you may have missed and a small brush to clean it out after. If you have sensitive skin, I'd do a patch test like the directions recommend, but for me I had no irritation or redness afterwards. Definitely better than shaving where you can still kinda feel prickles especially next day; my face is literally baby soft. 10/10 love it so far.

It's effective, but takes time. You have to work at it. The blade felt a little rough on the skin at times. Another reviewer recommended using Vaseline, and I'll try that next time. I had been very happy with Clean+Easy cream, but the company changed the formula and it no longer works for me.

So glad I took a chance on this! I use it to trim the fine hairs in my mustache area, between my eyebrows, and around my chin. It's perfect for that. I love that I can charge it instead of relying on batteries, especially for travel. My previous shaver was the "Panasonic Women’s Facial Hair Remover and Eyebrow Trimmer with Pivoting Head"; that shaver had gotten dull and was somehow clogging my pores or causing ingrown hairs so that I developed a pimple or two every time I used it. On my last trip, the Panasonic one stopped working due to the battery dying (very inconvenient). This new one works way better than the old one; it's gentler, more effective, and quieter. Very happy I made the switch.

I didn't think I would ever need to shave hair from my face, but age does that. I chose this because I wanted more control over the surface and these small heads allow that for me. I also like that this has a double round blade where others are a single. It's easy to clean as well as pop on and off the two different heads. You can use the eyebrow smaller head on your front nose hairs too. It's comfortable, not noisy and the charge lasts a long time. I usually need to use it about once a month to get the peach fuzz and around my lips/chin area. It smooths out the skin a little. It's small like a large ball point pen and easy to travel with. It would have been nice to come with a small drawstring pouch for traveling or storage, so I have to see what I already have to avoid using the box.
