Q: One side of the box states that refrigeration is not necessary; another view of the box says to refrigerate to maintain potency. Which is correct?

I would keep them refrigerated if that's what you prefer, but I don't think that you have to. If we think about the shipping process, they are not shipped cold so if they DID need to be refrigerated, I would think we would lose a lot of quality during the shipping process. Honestly, I'm glad that they don't HAVE to be refrigerated, but then we can still choose to do so once we get them if we feel that it preserves them longer. 🙂
