Glad to have this
I've been curious in expanding my crafting hobby into magnets and custom tiles and this is a great help. The magnet strip itself is quite thick and needs a solid blade to cut it rather than a standard pair of scissors, but as it's in strip form, it can easily be trimmed in a paper cutter. The adhesive is impressive, too and helps whatever you attach it to hold fast onto the magnetic surface. You can always supplement the adhesive with stronger glue, but for lightweight magnets or charms, this is all you need.

Wow, impressed, very strong
I bought this to go on the back of a towel rack so I could put it on my fridge. The rack is about 13 inches long and weighs nearly a pound. I didn't want to use the adhesive on the back of the rack because it could damage the paint. A magnet seemed the best option, but I didn't want some thick magnet that would stick out. Based on reviews, I decided to risk it and buy the magnet tape. Truthfully, once I saw how heavy the rack was, I didn't have a lot of hope. However, it works great. The magnetic strip holds the rack, which holds a kitchen hand towel and an apron. It didn't slide or slip when I put it up, it stuck. It's holding securely days later and is not going anywhere. Very impressed.

Worthless. Unfit for Purpose 💯
The media could not be loaded. I bought this to hold up kitchen knives. That's a hard fast no. In fact it will not even stick to a metal or painted surface. The adhesive backing isn't even quality enough to hold the magnet strip down! Not even with clear tape over it! Just keeps rolling right back up. LolTo use this you will have to nail it into the wall. And hold ONLY very, very tiny lightweight things — like screws and paper clips… and truly not much else at all. See video demo.Onto how much magnet Strip you get for your five dollars. For such a low quality product I would expect at least 20 feet. I think you get five ft? I bought it for $4.95.This would be a disappointing and useless buy even if purchased from Dollar Tree. I'm sending it back and reclaiming my wasted fiver.

Good magnet, okay adhesion
I used this magnet tape to secure the AmazonBasics Mesh Bin Office Wall Folder File to my fridge. ( https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07JHQ6J83/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00 ) This file is made to screw into a wall, but I wanted to keep it on my fridge to hold important papers. I cut 3 strips the width of the pocket and stuck them to the back. I let it set up for a day or so, just in case. But once I put my files in it, they only stayed on the fridge for a day until it fell off. (Technically, the pocket fell off, and the magnets stayed stuck to the fridge!) I believe this is because the pocket has a mesh design. So I got out my trusty E6000 adhesive and glued the strips to the back of the pocket, wiping the extra across the mesh in an effort to create a better bond. I let it dry for 24 hours before putting my files back in. This has worked, as my files have not fallen off since! I then did the same procedure for a pencil holder of the same material on my fridge, and this has worked too. I like how wide this magnet tape is, and I feel that if it has a good smooth surface to adhere to it might do better, so keep that in mind when purchasing.

Seemed pretty good at first but adhesive can slowly release.
The adhesive is pretty sticky and sticks strongly - at first. The magnet is impressively strong for rubber sheet. But on the surfaces I was bonding to (3d printed plastic), it started working back off in about a week even though I clamped it down securely for awhile. It wants to curl back to its round roll shape. Also, the magnet side exudes a black residue that sticks to the other surface. - It would stick and leave black smudges on my fridge after a couple days. And once it stuck well enough that the loose adhesive side of the magnet totally pulled free. I did find a different brand that works much better, but in pre-cut squares.

Perfectly pairs with stick on Velcro strips
I used this to act as the rear flap seal on my truck’s canvas bed cover. The cover came with stick on Velcro strips that were supposed to be “permanently” left on the tailgate. Not on my truck thank you very much. I wanted to be able to remove and replace the cover with the changes in seasons. So I stuck a strip of supplied stick on Velcro to the sticky side of this magnetic strip and now I have a magnetic seal on the cover’s rear flap that holds it down nice and clean. Holds well and looks great. The thickness was a perfect match to the Velcro strip and was easy to work with.

Light Duty
Probably okay for other applications but didn't work for me because it was too weak. In all fairness I may have been expecting too much. Definitely okay for light duty applications
