I bought a Frigidaire and after only 2 months the handle broke off. I called about replacing it but the part was too expensive. I just happen to look on Amazon and found what I needed. The price is great! The product is better than original. The finish was a matte black verses the gloss black I had but I don’t mind.

My door handle on my fridge broke and this was the perfect fit. Only downfall was that it didn’t come with screws.

I have a black Frigidaire. It was only one year old. One day I grabbed the door and the whole handle broke off. I found the part number and looked it up. A new OEM part was going to be $71.00! The door handle was crappy extruded hollow plastic. The hollow caused it to flex a little every time you pulled on the handle. Several refrigerators use the same model for many brands. So I went to "Ultra Durable Door Handle Replacement Part by Blue Stars" on Amazon. The company said it would be exact replacement and claimed the part would be better then the original. So I ordered one. The new part came in with two days and free shipping. I still had the original two screws. The new part is a differently material and it's better. The old one was shiny color and but it seemed brittle. This new one is matte finished and seems that it will endure the stress much better. The new handle only cost $11.70 with free shipping instead of $71.02 plus shipping. Frigidaire should be ashamed of themselves! So I'm very happy. Blue Stars also has oven, glass, stove parts, and knobs available too.

Replacement meant for Frigidaire model LGHT1837LE3 door handlePros--Inexpensive replacement compared to the original part being 120-180 depending on where you looked. Easily installed and functions as a door handle. Basement fridge so not really essential to look the same.Cons--doesn't look the same, more matte black than the glossy black of original. Fits fridge door handle but the 'button' screw for the lower portion doesn't fit. This handle has a white plastic piece that is screwed into the handle. The piece is designed wrong, keeping the base of the handle away from the fridge rather than flush. If they changed that piece I think it would work better.

Doesn’t fit

This was a replacement for my fridge/freezer. I bought one and replaced the fridge handle. It looked so out of place with the factory freezer handle, so I had to buy a second one for the freezer. My only complaint is that it does not come with screws and the holes do not exactly line up with the factory holes in the fridge/freezer doors. It was very easy to install despite the misalignment.

I couldn’t find the model number on the refrigerator at one of our rental properties. The plate was all worn off and unreadable. I took measurements and ordered this as the freezer handle had been broken by tenants. It worked wonderfully. And for the price it was a lifesaver.
