This product worked better than the original. Many folks could save a ton of money if they realize that about 80% of home AC problems lie in the capacitor. My Payne unit had a bad one from the beginning and the installers just said well they all make noise. Wrong. This capacitor will work but start up is slow and noisy. This new one solved the problem cheaply and prevented some overzealous closer from telling me I needed a new condenser unit. Very easy to replace, just by the right one with matching characteristics.
