solid product with easy installation
Damaged the old one that was hanging off the bottom of the bumper of my 07 tundra. Saw a post on here to replace the left license plate light with this and it worked amazing. Drilled 4 hole and plug in it in to the current electrical. 30 min job.

This will not fit a 2021 Tundra
This is advertised as fitting up to a 2014 model. That one is ostensibly the same as a 2021, but I'm here to tell you that Toyota removed the little grey connectors on the later model - the OEM harness is hard wired. This model Hopkins will not fit. Ended up cutting off the grey Hopkins plugs and the black Toyota side plug and soldered everything together. The external 7-pin connector itself seems very nice. Perhaps there's s different version that works better (I used the 43395)

Fantastic!
Couple years down the road and still works as should. I didn’t mount it in the factory location, instead I drilled a hole in the bumper and put it next to the plate. Hasn’t moved anywhere since.

Love how easy this was
The most difficult part of install was getting the old clip connections unclipped. That was a chore. Wear safety glasses for falling dust! After a few minutes I had the old one off and was able to snap the new part in.Next was drilling a new hole in the mounting bracket as they did not match the factory bumper holes. Not too hard but took away a star for this mistake in design.I can now boast of being the first one in our family to have all my trailer lights work! Ha ha

Such good quality
This fitted perfectly on my 2008 Tundra although the bracket needed some modification. The wires plugged straight inI launch my boat in salt water and this plug gets submerged in the process. The plug is sealed with an epoxy at the back and should prevent water entering into the connections. The price is perfect.

The bracket does not fit. Not even close
The bracket on this product absolutely is not an OEM fit. On a 2011 Toyota Tundra with tow package, as this product says it's for, the holes on the mounting bracket are off by 1/2 inch, and the bracket is too short by an inch or so. This cannot be mounted as the original. The socket assembly cannot be mounted to the original bracket. It cannot be fixed with a minor modification as the short bracket means the plug assembly with hit the hitch and the connector will hit the bumper. It looks like the whole thing was designed around something smaller, maybe a Tacoma.
