It worked well and my brake lights were restored.

My ABS light on my Hyundai kept coming on a lot of times when I first stepped on the brake pedal after starting my car and moving. I found out it was my brake switch and that my tail lights where not coming on when I was depressing on the brake pedal. Without my brake lights coming on when I stepping on the brake pedal, I felt like sometimes there was vehicles behind me that didn't realize that I was stopping and near to my rear.The brake switch was $10 cheaper than buying one at the local store. The brake switch took 5 to 10 minutes to get under the dash in a very awkward position with my back on the floor and my head looking at where the switch goes. It's good to have a buddy watch the lights in the rear to tell you if they are working or not. My lights were always on after the first time that I put in the switch. I used a 2 x 4 to depress the brake pedal so, I can see that was going on in the rear of my car while the brake pedal was depressed. I made a couple of adjustments to the brake switch and now it's working great.I would recommend this brake switch to anybody that needs one for the type of vehicles that it fits. It will give you a peace of mind knowing that your brake lights are coming on and hopefully saving you from other drivers rear ending you.

I ordered the wrong part because I'm not a mechanic at all lmao but for a break light switch it is a perfect fit for my car and it was definitely worth the price if you need a new one that's cheap. I'll keep it for when I need it one day or give it to someone who does but I did try it out in my car and I mean it works like it's supposed to so no complaints other than me just ordering the wrong part. It did look really nice tho when it arrived I'm the mail. The quality of the build was also sleek.

After noticing my brake lights weren't working on my 2008 Kia Spectra, and replacing both the light bulbs and checking the fuse, I came to the conclusion that changing this part was the last item on the list before I had to succumb to taking it to a mechanic. My model of car wasn't on the recall list for the part, but I saw that a LOT of other Kia's from around the same time were, and so I bought the part to try it. It was a very uncomfortable and long process changing it because you honestly need a 3rd arm for the process to go smoothly (I have to car repair knowledge, but all the car guys on youtube changing it seemed to struggle just as much) and this ended up being the fix I needed. Saved so much money on not going to a mechanic.

Nothing against this manufacturer or product owner, I just have grief with this part in general. Own a Hyundai Sonata 06 GLS. I've owned this car for 10 years. I can confidently say......I've swapped out the brake light switch in this car three.....possibly four times by now. It's a cheap little piece, but it's quite annoying to get behind the brake to swap this out.But, new part works magic.....brake lights no longer stay on nor does the ABS light flicker (this was happening two of the times and swapping this part out was all it took.)Mental note, if you are like me with a Sonata 06....you will need a OBD Scanner to clear the code afterwards. Otherwise, you'll have a fun little check engine light after swapping the old one for the new.

the threaded part of switch was larger than the oem part..this caused it to not fit through mounting hole to hold it in place..also since it was larger than original the old nuts would not thread on the part to hold it in place..this would require the finding a proper sized nut in either your garage or go to store because you need 2 [1 on each side of mounting bracket and it only comes with 1] ..i would not recommend it for a 2007 sonata..what it does fit i dont know..
